Floyd doesn't confirm or deny the Khan match up. He also says Canelo was a much better fighter than he had thought he was, maybe he'll think the same about Khan after the fight?
put it this way do you actually think the hip hop community in America know who Amir Khan is....... well i doubt it very much but why the hell is Amir Khan on BET 106 and park only the other day? No offense also to khan but he cant talk well in public as a guest speaker so why the hell would they choose him as a guest commentator for the Judah Mallignaggi fight? (dont care if he fought both, theres alot better fighter commentators out there!)
Il be honest im convinced hes fighting Khan next and people in the UK will buy the fight if its on PPV here just to see Khan get beat (sad but true!). Its a win win situation for Khan and Floyd gets an "easy" fight. I think it will be an exciting fight and Khan may trouble him for a few rounds but skills pay the bills and I see Floyd stop him on the ropes between 6-9 rounds.
Khan? I heard it was Mathew Hatton? Remember when the Pacfan f*ckboys swore Floyd was fighting him? lol Got to love how these hoes get all bent out of shape because Floyd keeps them wondering...
Lol I love how you've just made massive speculation and passed it off as fact. As for the Peterson situation, the IBF ordered an independent doctor to ascertain some facts regarding Peterson and allowed him to keep the title on that basis. I don't agree with that decision personally, and would have preferred the IBF to vacate the belt and follow VADA's advice, but that decision was based on that Doctor's findings, not corruption.
As for the WBA giving Khan his belt back, well it's the WBA. Now that is fact that their rules allow them to do whatever they want.
EDIT: Have a statistic - the IBF have 5 black champions, out of 15 divisions
The doctor's intervention wasn't necessary since Peterson openly admitted to using PEDs in the first fight once he was caught using them during the camp for the rematch. The doctor was used by the IBF exactly for people like yourself to assume that because there was a "doctor" involved, it somehow legitimizes the IBF decision for Peterson to retain the belts. It was all for show, to give the decision some sort of "credibility" when in reality it was totally unjustifiable.
Any logical and fair evaluation of those events just don't allow a PED cheat to retain a belt once caught and especially after he's admitted he was using them in the fight. For you to attempt to justify that decision by the IBF just shows that the IBF's salvage tactics worked because people such as yourself now argue for a governing body's "official" verdict instead of rationalizing the situation for yourselves independently and objectively. The WBA, at least in this case, implemented justice, it's what any respectable organization should do in a case like this, and that was to strip an outed PED cheat of the belt and return it to the champion.
It is Khan and that is obvious and certain. The fact that Mayweather did not deny it will be Khan is proof Khan is his next opponent. Mayweather knows fans are unhappy with his choice of Khan for May 2014 and he doesn't want to hear the complains one more day than needed. When Schaefer kept Khan out of the ring until May 2014 it became clear he would be Mayweather's next fight and they did not want Khan to ruin the Mayweather-Khan fight by getting himself KOed again.
Floyd sounds like an uneducated guy that got some media training on how to answer questions safely. You can tell his mouth is moving faster than he can think.
It's a pretty well-known fact, they always favor black American fighters - the president of the IBF and a few of the directors are black. The president is called Daryl Peoples. This is his pic

There are a few other cases in the past but just take the Khan vs Peterson fight. Once Peterson was discovered to be a PED cheat the WBA immediately returned Khan's belt which is what any organization who has a trace of fairness would do.
Now the IBF on the other hand actually allowed Peterson to keep the belt which means that for the WBA belt the result of that fight is a No Contest, but for the IBF belt the result remains a W for a PED cheat - just because he's a black guy.

Ill bet 5 millie he aint fighting Kahn. this is how it goes everytime. speculation begins, tards and haters start running with said speculative opponent whilst it should only be believed when Floyd speaks. Floyd speaks and its a different opponent.
Make it 100 e-million if you're so confident. If you win, I'll give you 1 e-billion.
Whoever it is Maidana, Khan or Devon, nobody will be happy
Floyd will get ridiculed, he'll make up for it in the follow up fight (like he did when he fought Canelo after Ghost), when he can start renegotiating with Pac and or fight Bradley or possibly Garcia
Floyd is running out of money making opponents
I don't see how a traditional boxing fan that believes in the champion vs contender model can **** on the Devon Alexander unification. Where the problem lies is whether it should be on PPV.
PPV just ****s up everything because none of the options are worth $70.
Floyd can pull a Willlie Pep against Maidana. Win a round without throwing a punch.
It's not the least bit far-fetched to say Maidana may not land a single punch that isn't in the clinch or to the body. Not even glancing.
Although I'm not in favor of the Khan match up I think he could sell the fight better. He's an intelligent guy especially when he talks boxing. I could see him being a good manager or a trainer. I just don't know if he has the dog in him.
Much more Mayweather's style to wait and see who wins these next two weekends. There are so many potential opponents. If one of them wins and looks great doing so, Mayweather will hopefully go for him.
Unless, of course, Golden Boy refuses to talk anyone except Khan, which is possible. They're ready to cash this guy out, the hell with anyone else.

Probably the worst case scenario around here. Everyone whines about Khan, Maidana wins and gets the fight, everyone whines about that and says Khan would have been better, and Mayweather gets no credit.

Ah okay, I read wrong. I agree. You know people will call for it though if he stops Broner.

I think Floyd played a straight bat (for once), he doesn't know who it's going to be yet.
Let's face it, if Maidana beats Broner it will be him.
Nah its Khan. He didn't confirm Guerrero either. And Khan beat Maidana.
That's what I'm saying. Of all the guys who might win the next two weeks, Maidana is the only one that's worse than Khan. Everyone else I'd rather see fight Floyd over Maidana or Khan.

Yes I think Floyds camp is are waiting for that result and the Devon one
If Devon puts on a great performance he could nick the fight off Khan
Khan might have played himself out of the fight, he took a gamble

Really? imo Maidana wouldn't land a glove on him, he struggled to land on Khan until the later rounds. I'll take Thurman v Floyd over Maidana.
