I still see some people on the site calling Khan a "bum" although most boxing fans and fellow boxers I know literally never described Khan as a bum.. so here we have a list of fighters that Khan has beaten more impressively than other good boxers have.. Just remember that if you described Khan as a "bum" you will need to describe these boxers as "bums" too since Khan has performed better than them in certain fights.. You might argue that it's because of the time that the fights occurred, if the fighters were in their primes or not etc, or you might just say the stats don't lie.. Either way I guess all these fighters are bums like Khan..
(L) means that fighter lost
Zab Judah - Khan beat him better than Floyd Mayweather Jr!, Lucas Matthysse (L), Danny Garcia, Vernon Paris (L), Kaizer Mabuza (L), Joshua Clottey, Miguel Cotto, Carlos Baldomir, Cory Spinks (L), DeMarcus Corley (L), Junior Witter (L)..
Marco Antonio Barrera (although a faded version) - Khan beat him more impressively than Manny Pacquiao!, Prince Naseem Hamed! (L), Juan Manuel Marquez, Erik Morales (L), Johnny Tapia (L), Junior Jones
Paulie Malignaggi - Khan beat him better than Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton , Adrien Broner(who lost to Paulie in my opinion), Juan Diaz.
Might add a few more later - there's still Kotelnik, Diaz and Maidana's opponents to consider..
Khan fans need to just shut the F up.
What other useful tips do you have to offer if you happen to be an equal fan of Mayweather and Khan..? Dying to know really..
so he beat up washed up fighters impressively....im impressed
Judah gave Garcia all he could handle, he nearly knocked that kid out. And Paulie beat Broner in my opinion.. so you really believe they're washed up..? It just shows styles make fights which is another reason Mayweather vs Khan is intriguing
Its not the fact that you editted it. It's the fact that you posted some bullsh*t and you didn't even know the facts.
Khan did not KO MAB.

Lol.. obviously I knew the facts because I corrected it to "TD" before the other poster sent his reply.. it was corrected within about 15 seconds.. BoxingScene only records a time for an edit if you edit it more than 1 minute after the original post.. Look at the times of our posts and note that there is no recorded time for the edit which means I edited it a few seconds after posting (before that poster sent a reply). What happened was he clicked reply on my post only a few seconds after I posted it so his reply text box retained the uncorrected version. That doesn't prove I don't know the facts, that actually proves I do know the facts because I was quick enough to edit it before anyone could try to correct me.
Look I will demonstrate what I mean here about recording a time..
Edit - there should now be a time recorded below my sig.....

When was the post edited? And if it was edited, was it edited within seconds, minutes or hours. And finally, have you ever edited one of your own posts before and, if you have, should no one take you seriously because you edited your own post..?
lol.. Ok then..

Khan beat kotelnik convincingly while alexander devon got a wrong decision win. kotelnik was robbed
Exactly, and not only that but Kotelnik fought Khan and Alexander back to back, he didn't have any fights in between. Devon actually had an advantage because Kotelnik was inactive for over a year when he fought Devon, but still Khan beat him much more impressively. Although to be honest with you I thought Devon beat Kotelnik because he won enough of the early rounds whereas Kotelnik came on strong later in the fight. But I can see how you could have Kotelnik beating Devon..

No he's not. As good as Bradley? As good as a Broner fight ? As a Brook fight? As good as a Thurman fight?
We don't know what will happen in them ^ fights
Floyd would KO Khan easily. Khan Telegraphs his punches too much. He couldn't land punches on Paul McCloskey and you think he'll be competitive with Floyd.
This is sad let it go
McCloskey didn't win a round against Khan on any judges scorecard, he just ran all night. Bradley publicly ducked Khan so he couldn't really be considered above Khan. Pacquiao, Prov and Marquez arguably beat Bradley so with different judges he might be officially defeated 3 times. Brook and Quintana have never won a world title so right now they're untested at top level.
None of those fighters could really be considered worthy of the fight before Khan. Sure, some will argue for Bradley because technically he is a world champion but because of the public duck of Khan, if you're comparing Khan and Bradley then Khan could really be placed above him or at least on exactly the same level.
I don't agree with the reasoning for this post. Khan did not beat an impressive MAB in anyway shape or form, and the fight was stopped on cuts.
He did beat PM and ZJ impressively, and looked good against Maidana (for most of the fight), McCloskey, Kotelnik and Salita.
But he hasn't really looked impressive in his last two outings, and that's what matters at the moment. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Khan has been picked to make Floyd look good. They want a KO. Plus, he brings PPV money from Sky Sports most likely.
What I've also continuously said is that Khan has a style and a fighting heart that makes this fight better than say a Garcia/Alexander fight. Whilst they would probably last the full 12 rounds, their styles are tailor-made for Floyd. Khan's isn't. But he might end of getting stopped - but at least it will be fun as long as it lasts.
Agree with the majority of that - it's highly probable that Mayweather beats literally anyone in the division. So it doesn't really matter who he fights, they are very likely to get beat. The reason I'd like to see the Khan fight is because it will be an entertaining fight while it lasts - even though there is a high possibility that Khan could get KO'd if his punch resistance doesn't improve again like it did when he first moved to 140 lbs.
MAB was past his prime (I mentioned in the original post that he was a faded version), my point was that Pacquiao fought a faded version of MAB too, only 1 and a half years before Khan but Khan actually did as good as (or better) than Pacquiao did for the first 5 rounds when the fight was stopped.
WTF kind of breakdown is this? When you use octagon theories to make a case for a fight or a certain fighter it just further shows how terrible this fight is.
SO let me get this straight:
-If a floyd fan says this fight is garbage or that amir doesn't derserve it then it means they are scared floyd will lose.
-If they say its a good fight then they are fanboys who worship floyd.
-When floyd fans say its a garbage fight they are really lying because they will eventually change their minds when the fight is announced.
-floyd fans need to call this fight a cherry pick because khan is an easy win for floyd.
-floyd fans know this isn't a cherry pick because khan has attributes that can trouble floyd despite having a weak chin.
-if he fights khan he's ducking manny and sergio
-if he doesn't fight khan he's ducking him like tim
Can you guys please make up your minds. I get it-you all don't like floyd so everything he does is subject to criticism. But can you religious right, fringe and moderate Republican ass boxing fans unite under one central floyd hate based theme so NSB can function normally.
Have some of the sane manny fans/floyd haters-Bojangles1987 and waxfondler, meet with the race bait guys-Thuggery/Gong and the far right manny religious zealots-hectari, evol, makavelli, the birther fringe-pac boy, hugh grant, adop2, bring in the klit guys-weltshmerz, battling nelson-and the pro Putin faction (golvkin, russian crushin)-and you guys please come to an agreement on exactly how floyd fans should feel about this fight.
Thanks!
Khan got the better results than a lot of other fighters against Judah but lets not excuse how amateurish he looked or how Judah blatantly quit. That to me was one of Khan's worse displays and again he was fortunate enough that Judah, being the mental midget that he is didn't capitalize on Khan's mistakes.
Khan looked good in the Judah fight imo.
