I don't agree with you. Pacquiao is not entitled to 50% but he does deserve between 30% and 40%. Pacquiao just made huge money for fighting a nobody like Rios. He is next biggest moneymaker in boxing after Mayweather. He is a bigger draw than Cotto and Cotto got much more than 20% in his fight with Floyd. No way in hell do Arum and Pacquiao go for anything like 20%. Paqcquiao does not need Floyd to make big money any more than Floyd needs Pacquiao so this fight will probably never happen. I respectfully disagree, based on the vast expanse between the two fighters in terms of recent revenue, floyd will get the lion share, and rightfully so. and lets not hold floyd hostage because his opponents draw, the bottom line is the bottom line. Manny's numbers are not helping his position, and the fact that Floyd is such an enormous draw, and the fact that he pulled down 90 million last time out, hurts Manny to depths boxing fans are not grasping right now. few years ago it should have been a 50/50 split, but those days are long gone.. Manny should just ask for that 40 mil flat fee, because he isnt getting anywhere near a 50/50 split now. IMO a 70/30 or 65/35 would be reasonable, an 80/20 split is crazy if you manny because floyd is fresh out of any big name opponents, he already fought oscar, shane, cotto, canelo, jmm. Manny is the only big name left. Guys like khan, garcia, broner, ortiz 2, etc arent going to bring blockbuster ppv numbers and they will be lucky to do 1.2 mil with those guys.
