I don't understand how you can say no one has looked as sensational as Pacquaio did against Rios and that somehow puts him on a higher level that no one else is on. He was fighting Rios..
He got knocked out cold in the fight before that and has been looking fat from sensational for years now.
Floyd fought Canelo and it still looked boring. It's not the opponent, it's floyd. He is just boring as grass growing like Rigondeux who is more boring than grass growing.
Tyson saying it is like Donaire or Elorde (if he was still alive) saying Floyd is a better all around fighter than Manny. What a slap on the face on a brother from another mother. Lol!
Why did you include me in your reply? This is my reply in this thread read it carefully, I said tyson said Pac would win before Pac got knocked out, you posted an article from 2013 well past the interview I posted, So naturally Tyson being a student of the game unbiasedly would give Floyd the edge in this situation. Why again was my reply quoted?

Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, a regular at ringside for major fights, is looking forward -- like most boxing fans -- to the showdown between pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Canelo Alvarez, who will meet to unify junior middleweight titles on Sept. 14 (Showtime PPV) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"I think that's going to be a super fight," Tyson said in an interview with ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights." "It's going to be an interesting fight, because I watch Canelo fight and he's improving with every fight. I'm interested to see how he deals with the complexity of Floyd Mayweather, who's a real strategist and a master fighter."
So who does Tyson, now getting into the promotional business with his Iron Mike Productions, like to win the big fight?
"It's gonna be tough, it's gonna be tough," Tyson said. "I gotta go towards Floyd a little bit. It's gonna be tough, because we don't know because Floyd is older. This guy is gonna hit him, but it's just difficult to bet against Floyd if you're really honest with yourself. It's really difficult to bet against him because he's been so superior over all of the fighters during the duration of his career."
Tyson ranks Mayweather as the best fighter of his era, regardless of what happens on Sept. 14.
"First off, you have to admit that he's the best of his time," Tyson said. "The best of his generation. He beat everybody in three, seven divisions, regardless. I'm not familiar with how many, but he's conquered a mountain of divisions. You have to rank him the best fighter of the generation, at least."
In case Iron Mike is reading this, Mayweather has won world titles in five different weight classes, from junior lightweight to junior middleweight.
Floyd the greatest fighter in the history of the universe says, "I don't wana fight Pac, he'll hurt me, I jut wana make money and enjoy my life, my family, my girls that I abuse and ma children, I ain't got no problem, I'm the best, I'll fight anybody but not Pac, I don't wana end up walking using a stick"
Yeah, even the GOAT knows who the best hahahhaha

here is my reply below:
I agree everyone who fought Pac said Floyd wins easy, yet Floyd still doesn't wan the fight, that should tell you something, unbiased eyes will react accordingly and scratch their head and come to the conclusion that Floyd is a bit shook.
Wrong, prime for prime way back, Tyson said Floyd was scared and Pacman would have beat him, the onlly ones who gave Pac a shot were Evander, Tyson, and George Foreman.

I noticed that too. PAC is definitely mainstream he is loved by casual and hardcore fans everywhere and even the baddest heavyweight who ever laced a glove.
Mike knows Pac is a better fighter than FLoyd, Pac is cut from the same cloth as himself. But Mike sees things Pac does, and wishes he could have been able to do some of the things Pac does.
When Tyson sees Floyd he sees Floyd doing things that Floyd would have needed to have been able to do to survive some of the things Tyson did and now Pac does.
Floyds a survival merchant, not a fighter.
Tyson says Manny is better.....EVERY common opponent of Mayweather and Pacquiao says Floyd is better. End of thread.
Well Pac is the better fighter and Floyd better survivalist. The judges would have to work hard to count how many punches land or miss on Floyd, that's why Floyd is hard to score or a bit dodgy.
I mean the judges scored in favour of Bradley, counting his punches whenever bradleys arm flickered it seems without having to actually land and make Pac know about it.

Mike Tyson has always said he enjoys watching Pac more because that's the style of boxing he likes. He likes guys that can get sensational Knockouts. He says that is the only type of fighter he wants to promote as well.
But you Pacroaches are embarrassing yourselves by being all over Tyson's knob right now because he goes on record saying Mayweather wins the fight. So keep posting that Mike knows what he's talking about....it's quite true. ;)

The best thing about this is Kellerman is sitting there listening to it.
The old Mike is never too far away. If that guy had kept arguing, Tyson would likely have lost it.
lol! I also looking on the reaction of Kellerman, well known Floyd fan and he looks like he dropped his b@lls that time knowing tyson will have a rage anytime if he made a mistake or argue with tyson! lol!
Well this is just utter nonsense :spank:

prime for prime, Manny knocks Floyd the hell out. People know it, pro fighters know it, Experts know it, Floyd fans know it, they just won't say it loud.

Iron Mike seemed annoyed by the Black guy challenging his views and while Iron Mike is blunt about his opinion based on his expertise --- this is typical of non-boxers asking questions and can't understand what Iron Mike knows and what they go through.
People like answers to cater to their opinions. But when Iron Mike gives an upfront response people still can't fathom and appreciate what he has said....people, people....hehehe

When Mike said Pacquiao all the fans in the audience cheered with agreement. Not boo'd...CHEERED!

Watch the video, Tyson didnt say Pac was better than Mayweather. The title of the video and thread is bullshit.
you're f*ck!ng in denial man just like how Floyd ducks Pac, Pac who?
They know it, but never say it ever. But they do?
I like both guys. But if you see Pac has trouble with Marquez, his whole career, since the first fight, how would he have more success against Mayweather, who beat down Marquez? Not a Triangle theory but Mayweather is VERY obviously much better than Marquez. That is consensus. But somehow Pacquaio KO's him.
He couldn't clearly beat Marquez (I think he won 3/4 fights but not clearly) but he can KO Mayweather.
Pac left Floyd many miles behind in terms of resume and accomplishments. He beat all their common opponents in one sided fashion. What else? He is a congressman while he received an award from prison.
