Damn, Floyd make people talk about his fights from 2002 smdh. Dudes on this forum got long ass reach. If anything, my boy Emmanuel Augustus landed more meaningful shots than Castillo. Punch stats dont show the full picture of this fight, floyd dominated most of the early rounds and eeked out a few of the later rounds. At the worst, it couldve been a draw.

Mayweather-Castillo I was a really close fight that could have went either way or a draw. No good reason for anyone to find this fight particularly controversial. OK the scorecards were probably too favouable to Mayweather but in the rematch they were probably too favourable to Castillo.

Many prestigious publications such as Associated Press had mayweather winning the fight (they had it 115-111). You try going up to a new weight class, facing a HOF'er for your first fight instead of a light touch, and then facing him 1 handed and still owning him. Then rematching him healthy and dominating him easily. He didnt dominate castillo in his second fight either, it was a close fight (but clear winner)

It was Mayweather who kept elbowing or pushing that got deducted a point from my memory. He didn't like the pressure at all and at the end of a few rounds his eyes and face looked visibly worried. Castillo was rough and had a high workrate and Mayweather had an injury. Both were deducted a point.
