Please tell me Mayweather-Khan isn't happening...

I said it several times: the Khan fight makes sense only at the Wembley stadium as the venue -- because of the big gate revenue. But the month of May would be too early for a stadium fight in the UK... A Khan fight in LA would sell poorly... Therefore...

I'm in the minority but yes It will likely happen and I have nothing negative to say about the match, is it PPV of course not if you don't like it don't buy it, Khan makes for good fights and I would like to see Floyd against someone as speedy with an offensive mentality it'll be exciting for a few rounds before he gets broken off but considering what's available it's more of a circus fight but.....bring in the clowns

Khan done nothing to deserve this. If anyone says it is a cherry pick, this time I will agree with you. Guerrero was a cherry pick too. That fight was nothing more than a tune up. But because Floyd Mayweather is Floyd Mayweather they have to sell it as something more.

lmao they have contracts with HBO, so they cannot fight Floyd on Showtime, not too hard to understand the PPV can be a dual network card, it's happened before. both networks share the revenue, however Showtime would most likely take the lion's share of the profit as their star is the bigger draw but why would they do that when Floyd's fans will buy Guerrero 2, Ortiz 2, Khan, etc? no point in making the pacquiao fight when his awful fans buy even the most horrible of cards i bought pac/rios because i wanted to see if pacquiao was the same fighter, but i'm done buying both of their ppv's until they step in the ring with each other, or until they fight somebody *I* deem a real challenge (Floyd vs Martinez or GGG at 154), and Pacquiao would have to fight somebody from Golden Boy for me to buy his next fight, as I have no interest in watching him fight anybody from Top Rank, not even Bradley

... We've seen what happened to Canelo... Danny can't do better and he doesn't have Canelo's fan base. I don't see how they could hype this for a Floyd PPV. Angel Garcia will likely clash with both Sr. and Roger, that'll bring attention to it. I can easily say we saw what happened to Canelo, what can do, it's safe to say Mayweather doesn't have any challenges out there, credible opponents but no challenges really.

I'd rather have mayweather fight alexander atleast then he gets to unify. I know the 154 lbers GBP have aren't realistic.... lara/trout won't sell if khan beat alexander, bring it on but the guy has done nothing at 147 and it's sad to me that khan may get a floyd shot. i dont get it, why not fight khan a couple years ago when he was unified champ at 140. he was p4p at the time and most considered him the best at 140. now he's the butt end of 1/2 jokes on NSB.
