I think Lara will beat Trout which is a fight I'am really interested in two south paws going at it can't wait for this fight.
I Think Pascal will beat Bute.
I'll see you all mexican fans back here after 12/07/2013, not going to say much right now about why the Cuban will win, I'm going with Lara in this one, and no, canelo will not had destroyed williams, vanes or angulo under the same circumstances that Lara fought them, williams was the house fighter just as vanes was, and angulo had all the advantages that night, a phone booth for a ring and memory foam as a mat, and the weight advantage, remember guys? Lara got a strange rehydratation clause while angulo could balloon to whatever he wan it to, pls guys report the way it is, there are little things that when put together became a big handicap for the fighters involved...
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL
People keep talking about Bute's "China chin" or whatever but I'm not sure where this is coming from. He wasn't knocked out cold against Froch, he got caught up on the ropes and took some damage but that is the only time he has ever lost period and it happened to be a TKO. He has a KO% of 75% and is going up against a guy with a KO% of less than 55% and two losses plus a draw.
Bute isn't fighting in England this time and he is fighting against an aggressive boxer who is not as technically sound as he is. Bute also has like a 3 inch height advantage according to Boxrec so I don't really see too much that favors Pascal here.
As far as Trout goes, I can't believe the amount of writing off that is going on with respect to him. I mean he only lost to Canelo who people love to discredit as well but I would bet you that you put Canelo in the ring with ANYONE that Lara has fought and he destroys them rather easily. Trout would make a mockery of Vanes and Angulo if given the opportunity. Lara has a reach advantage but I think Trout's activity level will allow him to outwork his opponent who will be looking for the counter shots but Trout's movement will limit his opportunities to capitalize. Trout is also a proud guy with a lot to prove in this fight and he will look to make a statement.
I think Lara's stock will take a big hit in this fight and people will start to realize just how good Canelo is and in turn, how good Floyd is to be able to beat Canelo like he did.
Damn good post bro ...I think Trout wins a close competitive decision

No idea why people are so impessed with Lara. Trout has done just as much as Lara has and fought at a higher level. Even fight for me, I can't decide.
Pascal stops Bute in 6
I agree. Lara is definitely a good fighter but the hype around him is way too much. He did the same thing Quintana did to Williams only he did a couple years later and post Martinez ko. The Angulo fight was very competetive as well. I'm not convinced he beats Trout. Thats a pick em fight imo
I think Lara beats Trout. Punches are too clean for the judges to ignore if Trout punches anything like he was in the Canelo fight. Lara UD. (might be betting on that if i have the dolla as bookies have Lara at +100 which is more than genorous imo)
For Pascal Bute im just not sure Bute has recovered mentally from the Froch beatdown. We will see but i think the strength and power of Pascal plus the extra weight will be in his advantage.
Standard picks from me!
I expect Lara to defeat Trout decisively. Trout doesn't do anything well in the ring. I'll say he has a better inside game than Lara, but overall he's got a very ugly style of boxing. High volume, low accuracy, low power. Lara picks him apart on the outside.
Bute vs. Pascal is interesting. Bute has seen better days. But imo, if he's still the same Bute, he should be able to outclass Jean Pascal. He started off slow against Grachev, if he starts slow in this fight he could be in trouble. I think the only way Pascal wins is by KO.

I picked Trout just cause no one picked him. I do believe Lara has a 60/40 advantage but Trout does have a shot.
I don't see any way Bute is beating Pascal.
I think Lara over Trout, but Bute - Pascal I'm really not sure. Pascals only really big win was Dawson who's subsequently been seen to be somewhat flawed. OTOH Bute has also shown significant vulnerabilities but mainly to power which Pascal hasn't really shown all that much of.
Obviously both are accomplished fighters but I just don't really know how this one will go.
I guess if I had to pick it'd probably be Pascal, mainly cos I'm just not confident about Butes ability to hold up mentally under pressure despite believing Bute to be the technically better boxer.
I picked Pascal because I do believe Bute is overhyped and has a questionable chin. I also picked Froch to beat Bute.
I'm really not sure about this Lara-Trout fight. I think it's going to be a great fight that could go either way. I knew Lara would be the favorite but it seems like virtually NOBODY is picking Trout.
Pascal is not a very hard puncher, just because he has muscular doesn't mean he punches hard (see: Findley). He actually only has 5 knockouts in his last 17 fights... Bute's china chin might make Pascal look like a P4P puncher though. Pascal is also a pretty limited fighter, I wouldn't be surprised if Bute boxed him to a UD. I've still got Pascal in this one but we'll see...
Lara should beat Trout, he's the better fighter in just about every department (w/the exception of size). Trout will probably bring a 5-7 pound advantage and a good wrkrate, but Lara should be able to outbox him using his superior speed (hand and feet) and educated movement.
These are 2 upcoming fights i'm looking forward to. Quite evenly matched aswell IMO.
Any interest? and how do you seen the fights going?
Are these fights a 100% confirmed? I reckon Trout out points Lara and Pascal beats Bute, wide UD or late stoppage.
