The Mayweather vs Khan fight looks as good as done according to some of the recent reports and statements from Khan. If Mayweather comes out victorious as most think he will, do you think there should be an immediate rematch in the UK?
Follow my logic here - Floyd has said he always wanted a fight in the UK, if he beats Khan in Las Vegas (which at the moment I believe he will) a rematch in the UK for Mayweather would be the ideal situation and would be a massive fight where Khan is forced to try to redeem himself against the p4p number one. It's either Khan or Brook in the UK for Mayweather and obviously Khan is by far the bigger global star. Mayweather gets to initially test the waters against Khan in the US, figure out that style and then get that UK fight he always wanted against a fighter he already beat... It's pretty much an ideal situation for him.
Rios is not a world beater, he's coming off a loss to Alvarado for Christ's sakes.
When in the bloody hell did I call Rios a world beater?
I was replying to the poster that was questioning Manny's choice in Rios.
this fight is a fuqing waste of time
Seriously this is a fight that shouldn't happen in the first place.
Khan is one of the most entertaining boxers out there, win or lose. It should be Mayweather's most entertaining fight of his career.
You peeps should wise up and start begging for this fight asap. It is sure to entertain whatever the outcome.
No one expected Pac to fight again, let alone fight some world beater after getting KTFO. Even if I wasn't a Manny fan, I'd give him a pass.
Floyd is the face of boxing, and he rarely fights, EVER.
Khan is in no way, shape or form a suitable opponent for Floyd. Not even in the stratosphere of a reasonable opponent.
Rios is not a world beater, he's coming off a loss to Alvarado for Christ's sakes.
If this fight does go down which I think it will. Khan signed a three fight deal with Showtime. He fought two tune ups on their network with beating guys like Diaz and Molina.
Showtime hasn't really gotten their money worth with Khan. So they are trying to cash out him now. Which is why we are getting Mayweather vs Khan there should be no rematch.
Another reason why I used the scales visual.
JMM >>>>>>>>>> Khan.
And just because Floyd is allowed to cheat JMM on the scales, doesn't mean anything. He can beat JMM, OK, JMM can beat and compete with Manny. Manny can beat JMM, just the same.
Including Khan into the equation does absolutely nothing for you.
You can opine that JMM is better than Khan but his trainer Nacho Beristain wasnt so sure - they weren't confident of beating Khan because of his style so they avoided him.
Since then of course JMM has KOd Pacquiao but we dont know for sure if that changes Nacho's opinion of a Khan vs JMM fight because, again, styles make fights.
You conveniently ignored my previous point -
Pacquiao got knocked out in 6 rounds by Marquez.
Floyd beat Marquez very easily.
Going by your logic no one should be straight-faced thinking Pacquiao is a credible opponent for Mayweather then?
Or like I said... do styles make fights..?
In 6 rounds? Are you sure it wasn't 42 rounds??
Neither are.
Floyd can fight who he wants, he gets paid regardless.
Yeah, OK. Manny's been the only one in boxing that could've given Floyd a loss since 09', and they just happened to not have fought by now.
GTFOH. You're boy Floyd isn't worthy to carry even a prime Oscar's jock strap. He's a fraud to the highest order.
Thanks for the correction and Manny is the fight that needs to happen regardless if he got KO by JMM. Manny was putting a severe beating on JMM before he got to c0cky and lunged in leaving himself open for JMM to take advantage of. A mistake I doubt he'll ever make again. Floyd schooled JMM but it was JMM first time at the weight and Floyd came in over weight. Manny did more damage to JMM in the first 5 rounds then Floyd did in his 12 rounds with JMM and Manny was on the verge of stopping JMM. Something Floyd couldn't do with his advantages.
This talk of Khan being a better opponent for Floyd then Manny is the dumbest sh1t I ever read here. Let Khan give Diaz a rematch sense he gave him all he could handle.
Agree, and not because I'm a Manny fan, but because I have common ****in sense.

Correction. C class, over the hill, well past prime, fighter.

On one hand this is not a competative fight and i like to watch competative fights not one sided beat downs.
On the other hand, i do like to watch Khan do the stanky leg

Yes, styles to do makes fights, but you seem to not understand one key issue.
How much sweat equity has Manny built up throughout his career, and how sweat much equity has Khan built up throughout his career?
Oh, a win over Zab, and Khan's "style" is worthy for Floyd.
OK, and?
Does that make him a good opponent for Floyd?
I honestly think you're using a straight face as you type out your posts.
