I don't know why Klitschko remains so low...he's #4 on my p4p list and I could even make a case for him being #3. I'm happy they put Garcia in and took Froch out. Long overdue Danny! I think it's still a tad premature to put Golovkin in, even at the back end.
Overall, the ESPN p4p should be respected more than the Ring Magazine Golden Boy trumpeters.
that's really not a bad list. the pound for pound is inherently subjective. if these guys don't fight in the same weight class you're forced to speculate.
i don't have martinez on mine, and mikey is in the top 10. martinez looked awful against murray, and could have easily lost that fight on the cards.

Who ever made that list should be slapped to sleep.
My top 5 list
1. Ward
2. Pac
3. Mayweather
4. Bradley
5. Martinez
Mayweather, if you're reading this you have to fight the best to be the best, come get your number 2 spot back.
So Pac fighting Rios is fighting the best? No way at all to justify him being number 2. C'mon son, you're better then that.

How on Gods green earth can anyone in this universe make a case for GGG to be on the top 10 list? I would love to hear ESPN's/dan's case on GGG being top 10, I need a good laugh.
Manny Pacquiao should be at the top of this list even though he got knock out by JMM, I mean come on! Look at his resume he's beating the best out there and he is the 8th time world champion.
Erik Morales (Twice by K.O)
Marco Antonio Barrera (Twice)
Juan Manuel Marquez (Twice)
David Diaz (Rd. 9 K.O)
Oscar De la Hoya (Rd. 8 stoppage)
Ricky Hatton (Rd. 2 K.O)
Joshua Clottey (UD)
Miguel Cotto (Rd. 12 TKO)
Shane Mosley (UD)
Antonio Margarito (UD)
Timothy Bradley (Pacman definetely beat this guy)
Brandon Rios (UD)
Meaningless fodder but whatever. Here it is.
1. FMJ
2. SOG
3. Bradley
4. JMM
5. Manny
6. Sergio
7. Rigo
8. Wlad
9. Danny Garcia
10. GGG
Others receiving votes: Nonito Donaire (10), Mikey Garcia (10), Carl Froch (7), Adrien Broner (4), Roman Gonzalez (1), Vasyl Lomachenko (1).
Any thoughts?
GGG in the top ten?GTFOH,who the hell did he beat to get that ranking? And Andre Ward should not be number 2 in my opinion. And where the hell is Hopkins?Hopkins has been dominant for the past 20 plus years and beat a lot of top level opponents.
Triple G on there but Froch isn't? Eh, not to sure I agree with that.
I think Mikey Garcia is at a point where he deserves a spot on the list. A couple of those names will be coming off the list sooner than later, though.
So no Froch now even though he won the fight? Just because he got knocked down. Manny lost to Bradley and got KTFO'd and is still there and Martinez got knocked down twice and got a robbery decision and still there.
GGG? pphahahhaa.
It's crazy I mean froch wasn't 'exposed' in the sense we didn't learn anything new about him. Why are people acting like it was a surprise he was outboxed for the first half? Its happened in plenty of fights but yet again he found a way to win and thats why he's one of the best fighters in the world.
If we were basing a ranking on pure skill then Khan should be top 10 but what a joke list that would be. You have to give credit to fighters who take on the very best in 50/50 fights where we see them overcome great challenges.
We know nothing about how GGG would react in a tough situation, because he has yet to face a challenge. He hasn't fought any of the elite level guys in his division, so how can he be top 10 p4p over someone like froch?

Although Bradley is undefeated and has fought some good competition I still feel he is way too high. I think Floyd and Ward are lightyears ahead of him in terms of skills and natural talent. Bradley is a goo dfighter but he doesn't do anything particularly well. He's just "good" at everything he does but not great.
