Floyd will work with Arum if Arum agrees to sign the Mayweather contract. It will contain a proviso which will guarantee Arum's payment is no more than a certain amount and that the fighters will get the vast majority. It's a simple solution and it effectively means that Mayweather controls Arum for one fight, so the tables are totally turned on him. Win-win all around. The question is will Arum's greed prevent the fight from happening? I can't see Manny asking Arum to step away for one fight, just cant see it happening although it would be the ideal move for all parties involved.

... Floyd DOES NOT need Manny for his Legacy, that is pretty much set already. As good as Manny was he will never be mentioned for the GOAT and Floyd already is! Floyd still has four fights in his contract... He may not need Manny for his "legacy", but surely he needs him for business...

Floyd is guaranteed 40 million a fight plus upside from ppv..he is getting close to 100 million regardless..hell he'd just have to split more with Manny...so Manny needs him not the other way around They actually don't need each other financially and achievement wise however a winner of that fight finally settles who is the best fighter of a generation.

Yea Manny HAD the style and experience to beat Floyd in ..2010. But the 2011 and on Manny would get embarassed maybe with miss punches and blocked punches. He needs to be what De La Hoya said aout him on 24/7 "his speed, his power, his relentlessness" and tha Manny that fought Rios yesterday only had his speed. Manny needs to do that mArquez Memo training with the weights to get power/pop on his punches at 147 man. The free weight training theres no pop Manny did have speed, power and relentlessness yesterday - he had enough of that stuff to beat Rios fairly easily. If he only had speed but no power or relentlessness Rios would have walked through his punches, had no respect for him and probably won the fight. Pacquiao's power was enough to keep Rios much more defensive-minded than he usually is, and he was throwing lots of combinations and out-throwing Rios in every round.

Manny is out of position a lot, he hasnt fought anyone to make him pay the ultimate price other then JMM.
