Should Howard Foster (Ref for Froch vs Groves) Be Banned From Refereeing?

Although I thought Froch was coming on strong and would have stopped Groves eventually, just like he would stop Ward if he manned up and fought away from home for once, that stoppage was one of the worst I've seen for a while. Should the referee, Howard Foster have his referee license revoked - in other words, should he be banned from refereeing fights again?

No but Jim Watt should be banned from commentating. Agree with the above

no ban—it was a bad stoppage, but he had done a pretty good job refereeing that fight up to that point. And premature stoppages happen to the best of them.

It was a bad stoppage, but I thought it was just an off night for him. Overall there are way worse refs out there.

No. He had to make a split second call as Froch moved in to finish Groves. Give me 10 early stoppages over 1 that is too late. This isn't a ball game, it's men punching each other on the head.

2 judges had it 76 - 75 for Groves so Froch still had a chance to win in those guys eyes or get a draw

Howard Foster should get banned, yet not a thread on the ref that let Magomed continue fighting with broken bones while his face is being disfigured? Think guys...an early stoppage (if it was that) is better than a late one.

Stop crying you cvnts, there were way worse stoppages in boxing. It was a bad stoppage but not that terrible. No that was terrible, George actually caught Froch with a sweet hook a second before the stoppage.. That stoppage was horrendous.
