Calling me an 'american motherfukr' is not racist. But yes, we are supposed to believe that a guy who trains anybody of any color is racist. Yessir, the white guy who considers a philipino to be his son is racist alright....
The only reason this event transpired was because of that scum ariza. He's the one that jumped in needlessly and ingnited the situation. Roach thought he had the gym scheduled for that time, and was asking wtf was up, why were they still taking the gym up. If roach really did have the gym scheduled for that time, than tough titty for garcia and ariza, they can go do the rest of their interviews somewhere else.
Here's to hoping ariza is forced to go back to being a trainer at 24 hour fitness, or back under whatever rock he was under that roach pulled him out of.
don't know all about that things you're bringing up so i won't even try to argue about that.
what i know from what i read is that rios gym time is from 9-11 and pac's is from 11-1. roach showed up and rios' team were still there and that's where the problem started. whether it was permitted by top rank for rios' team to extend or not...that i don't know.
whether pac was there or not is not even an issue. maybe roach went ahead to prepare the gym and pac was to show up later...who knows? i'm not going to assume on that.
Rios' time was 9-11 but they got called to do a live interview with ESPN at 9ish so they were given permission to have more time after 11.
Oh and Roach's time was 11-5! The guy had 6 hours of gym time but still kicked up a fuss over a few minutes.
It wasn't that Garcia was doing an interview. Rios was still finishing his workout. He had extra time because TR wanted them to do a live interview on ESPN earlier.
Pacquaio wasn't even there. Garcia was even willing to let Roach get set up and wrap Pacquiao's hands or whatever while they were still there. There was no issue until Roach made it one, thinking he owned the gym.

roach acted very unprofessional and there's no question about that.
what i was trying to say is this...roach showed up at the gym at their scheduled time and he saw garcia conducting an interview. they could easily conduct the interview in another place if they wanted to knowing that somebody else will use the gym. they were not even trying to pack up when roach got there. the problem started from that and roach attitude just made the problem even bigger.
But there was a reasonable explanation and it could have easily been resolved if not for Roachs ridiculous aggressive behaviour.
Roach was wrong in his approach
Garcia played it cool, i give him props
but Alex Ariza...man..what a piece of sh1t that guy is
Yeah, looks like Roach tried to bully Garcia around and he wasn't havin' it.
It escalated when Ariza got involved.

I hate these "politically correct" assh@les.
1.)We Know what Roach said.
2.)Everyone knows what it means from years of people living in the U.S.
It's not rocket science bro, even a 10 year old can put these two together.
And i really don't care what Roach has to say, but it really sucks hearing those words from a Hall Of Fame Trainer in Freddy Roach, someone who kids look up to.
Thats it. Just hope Roach mans up to it, and moves on.
People are seriously blowing this out of proportion. Yes Roach made a rude comment and then we have Alex over here kicking people in the chest.
But seriously who the **** cares. Are people really this sensitive? Like Roach is the only person in the world to say ' Mexican mother****er '
They were called by Top Rank to do an interview before their session started. It was up to TR to tell Pacquiao's team.
Even if they didn't, Roach didn't have to get confrontational. He could have just spoke to Garcia calmly and professionally about it.

'Even if they didn't' changes everything. In such a case, Freddie roach was just sticking up for his fighters scheduled gym time.
He can do that without being a fuking prick about it. It's not hard to just act like a grown up and discuss it instead of getting confrontational for no reason.
Like I said before, if Roach did nothing wrong why did he blatantly lie about what happened and what was said? The man himself knows he was a dickhead yet you clowns keep defending him :lol1:

And this is why i think it was set up.
Im sorry but there is no buzz or hype and hardly anyone knows pac is fighting this weekend. They needed something and this was it

it can also be argued that if garcia and rios followed the time schedule then nothing would've happened. their time was already up and they were still conducting interviews and didn't leave the gym.
i'm not trying to defend roach here because he really acted like a prick but the problem really started from the the rios team. if they wanted to extend their time, at least send someone to roach or pac to notify them of their intent. they can't just stay in the gym over their time schedule and expect no problem to come up.

All my point is Roach started it and it could easily have been avoided.
He was acting like an idiot.

Why are you people defending Roach on his racist comments? We all know if Roach was black, everybody would have jumped on his back saying how racist Roach is, and that "if a white person said the same thing all hell would break loose"-just like they did Mayweather when he made racist comments about Pac-juice.
All my point is Roach started it and it could easily have been avoided.

The most damning thing about it is that Freddie Roach had to blatantly lie about what he said and what happened in an interview just after.
Now why would he need to lie if he did and said nothing wrong?
As opposed to a guy that kicked a dude with Parkinson's. But yeah, let's totally focus on the dude that made a comment about somebodys nationality

his foul mouth? by saying what? he called gracia a POS after gracia refused to leave and refuse to give any explaination as to why their gonna stay an extra 30, if ur time is up u get the hell out pretty simple, if u got the ok from someone else to stay longer then u make that clear. ariza started mocking roach thats when roach went forward, roach didnt start calling the irish guy a mexican mf until close to the end when the irish guy was in roach's face telling roach to leave.
A flat out lie. Garcia explained that they had to do interviews with ESPN. Roach then said "That's not my problem, get the fuk out you fuking piece of sh1t".
Real classy
Garcia was actually explaining to Roach that they had to do interviews so they needed more time in the gym. They were granted extra time by Top Rank. Instead of Roach being professional he starts saying "That's not my problem. Get the fuk out you fuking piece of sh1t".
Like I said, he's a self entitled prick who thinks he can do whatever he wants and talk to people however he wants.
if they were granted extra time by top rank gracia should have said that. instead gracia said we need 30 more min because we were doing interviews. well um whos fault is that??
