Solis is VERY good. People use his weight as an excuse to duck him. And knee injuries do happen. Solis could beat anyone in the division right now....Vlad will never fight him and when he was injured Vitali never had any intention of putting the fight back on. Solis was not wobbled from a punch from Vitali either that is BS
Solis, Wilder, Ruiz Jr. have POWER and SPEED but they are not training properly. Solis and Ruiz Jr. are undisciplined as evidenced by their weight, and Wilder's technique is crude and unrefined. A fighter is only as good as the men around him, and these fighters' teams are not currently up to world championship standards.
i don't think that solis will ever get his act together.
he blew his knee out in one round against vitali. that doesn't happen to a fit man, nevermind a world class athlete. he probably can't even run.
it sucks, because he can box very well, and does have some talent.
He gave Vitali a schooling for about 2mins....if only he was in shape!
lol,,,,he was competitive for 2 minutes and then got buckled from a little arm punch from vitali and went down. kinda reminds me of herbie hide when he was also competitive for 2 minutes then got blown out. at least in herbie's case the first right hand was huge and landed flush

baddest man in the history of the sport. so what if he got buckled by an arm punch from vitali. long live king solis! :oh:

Schooling? Is that what you call missing shots and landing nothing of consequence at all?
If he could get down to 230-235lbs and stay injury free, it would be interesting to see how he'd come along.
But I don't think he'll ever get down to that weight.
