Always?? Now thats a bit silly. I think he means his WW run, not his career. Pac is one of the dying class of stars who earned their way up crowd vs the hyped up fighting no one crowd. Though like Floyd once they hit the top, they've been a lot more choosey in opponents.

Who is, though? Outside of Floyd? No one really. There's couple great, a bunch of goods....that's about it. Take Floyd out its an exciting division well matched...but with him there it's sort of a everyone and Floyd thing. Manny is still better than almost everyone else though. Bradley might be tough in a rematch and other than him and Floyd I don't put anyone else above him.

He hasnt faced an elite ww coming off of a win since 2009 in cotto..since then the last top 5 ww he faced hadnt won in 2 years in Mosley...since then he faced Bradley(moving up from 140) Jmm(0 wins at 147 unranked) now Rios (who is 1-1 at 140 against fvcking alvarado) why is this ok for Manny? seriously this is disgraceful for a so called elite fighter..dude does not fight top ww's period I consider him the 3rd ranked ww. Floyd (lineal champ, although some question that), Tim, JMM, Manny. Seeing as IMO he beat Bradley its fair to say he' still an elite fighter. The problem is TR seems to be having a inhouse revolving door string of fight amongst the guys at 140 and 147. He could fight a network nuetral true ww like a kell brook or a shawn porter but that doesn't seem like bob is interested in doing that. If not a true ww, at least fight provodnilkov since he won his last fight. Then after that maybe its time to just accept the very short end of the stick and take the $40 mil, no ppv to fight floyd.

i'd favor pacquiao over a lot of welterweights. a lot of 140 lbers, too. he's only at WW for the money. he could easily make 140 lbs. he's absolutely "elite" looking at the rest of the division. he holds a decisive win over bradley, the best WW not named mayweather. he'd smash guerrero, brook, alexander, broner, thurman. the only WW i'd pick to run away against pacquiao is floyd mayweather. everybody else he probably still beats. i'm actually shading pacquiao in the marquez V fight as well. styles make fights, but marquez legs are really looking slow. pacquiao would be best suited to box against marquez. sounds crazy, but angles nullify timing.

People state who they want mayweather to fight 140 up to 160. Why is it so hard for you guys to pick a boxer you think would give an entertaining / dangerous fight for manny?
