What is a lineal championship?

My question is how do u only have 18 posts but 2 billion points? Can someone direct me on how the point system works on here I bet alot

The lineal title refers to the man that beat the man that beat..... A new lineal champ cannot be named or crowned if #1 beats #2 as long as the championship is disputed(other champions). However if someone beats the lineal champion, that fighter would be recognized as the lineal champion even if he is not the undisputed champion. A good example is when Larry Holmes beat Ali, he earned that label. Michael Spinks beat Holmes and became lineal champion. Along came Mike Tyson and even though he won the WBA, WBC and IBF belts(undisputed and before wbo was invented), he failed to be considered lineal til he got Spinks in the ring and beat him. That is the way it has always worked in spite of all the things you hear here. thank you sir
