If anyone has Broner top 10 pfp, shouldn't they have Mikey higher??

Mikey is a true professional whose focus is on boxing. Broner is trying to enhance his brand outside of the sport through rapping. Mikey is more like KObe while Broner is more like SHaq. Thats why everytime you see Mikey fight he looks better or shows a new wrinkle and then interviews the way he does. Its also why Broner doesn't appear to have improved and he always has some stupid new gimmick in the post fight interview. I do agree that Mikey has been looking better with every outing. I've seen in his past getting hit with rights. It is not a critical issue because he is a well rounded fighter that is hard to get o because his offense/countering is so good. Not much seperate these two guys. I'm just hoping that Mikey gets Gamboa

dont know if i completely agree with this, Toby...Mikey has kept his dominance as he moved up while Broner has looked less than spectacular at times Mikey has looked dominant in a cool smooth fashion but is yet to meet a prime fighter on the rise.

garcia vs gamboa would be a good fight,,, I favor garcia,, but gamboa is one of those tricky guys that if he puts it all together like in the rogers mtugawa fight, he would have a very solid shot of beating garcia,, i honestly dont think a fight between the 2 goes the distance,,,

Mikey has deceptively fast hands and would hurt Gamboa..i can even see him stopping Yuri He's very polished, good defense, skilled, technically sound, mixes up his offense, power. He's definitely one for the future in my eyes. I don't think his chins bad either, Salido might not be in his prime but he still has power, and he's a very hard punching Feathweight. I'd defnitely favour him over Gamboa but Gamboa's doing nothing at the moment anyway I can't even remember when he was last relevant.

Dont have either on my list but they are equal in my eyes right now.

it's funny how only around a year ago people thought a bout vs Gamboa would be a mismatch in Yuri's favor...for me, i think it would be the other way around Mikey IS good enough to brutally expose Gamboa's flaws Mikey would hurt Gamboa when he lands.

Jumping 2 weight classes and beating Malignaggi convincingly was a really good accomplishment. His fight against DeMarco was one of the best performances I've seen in year's. Their resumes are pretty similar imo. Both have only two wins of real substance. Demarco = Salido: top 3 guy in a weak, wide open division, would be a fringe contender in a stronger class. Malignaggi = Martinez: paper titlist and top 10 guy in the division, but clearly below the elite. So I would say they are equals in terms of P4P standing, and neither is in my top 10. ^^^ Pretty good assessment. Both of these guys are really good. I can see them both being top 5 P4P soon enough. Need to see more of both before I say who is best.

eye test alone,, mikey looks like a much better fighter than broner,,, mikey is a legit p4p guy right now,,, broner needs to beatdown maidana, and he will be in the running,,, outside of the demarco fight, broner has never looked very good in any of his big fights,,, Thats not to say broner wont be there one day,, just at the moment he isnt p4p

Broner should not be in anybody's Top 10 P4P that is just STUPID! Can/Will he be a Top 10 P4P Fighter On Day? ABSOLUTELY but he is not their yet and and win over Maidana don't put him up their IMO Either! his composure is as impressive as his skill IMO..he's a calculating boxer that knows exactly what he wants/needs to do even in his interviews, you can see that we have a very cerebral boxer on our hands...he's on my short list of must-watch fighters lol, i dunno if u 2 would get along in reasl life tho, his favorite boxer by far is floyd mayweather, which is understandable. hes probably one of the few who can understand what hes doing in the ring when he does it.

seriously, if it was broner who got put on his ass, this forum would be flooded with threads about him being a glass chinned bum. thats a fact. lol 100% truth, i like mikey but i havent seen a single thread about him getting kd by a smaller guy, if marcos kd broner all hell is gonna break loose

Mikey is MUCH MUCH more polished than Broner and has better skills and i agree with this and i think it all has to do with pedigree. mikey just has it, it wss handed down to him and from what ive seen of the family and its' many fighters, blood relation or otherwise, he is the perfect combination of what they wanted to instill in a fighter. but part of me feels like mikey is an underachiver. like he likes to wait until his back is against the wall and his ass is on fire, otherwise it wouldnt be fun, itd be too easy. im pretty sure thats what it is. his personality and comments suggest it. and in the ring it makes sense the way he toys with guys. mikey is a prodigy tho, hes a complete boxer.
