JAMES DeGALE hopes a demolition job on American Dyah Davis will secure him a WBC world title shot next year. The 2008 Olympic gold medallist insists he is ready for a world title shot and has got fed up of waiting for the chance.
WBC super-middleweight champion Sakio Bika stopped Davis, 32, in ten rounds last year and Londoner DeGale is aiming to finish him off quicker in their clash at Bluewater, Kent, this Saturday.
DeGale is ranked at No.5 by the WBC and he reckons a good win over Davis will set up a crack at Australia-based Cameroonian Bika, who makes a first defence against Yank Anthony Dirrell on December 7.

DeGale needs to focus on the fighter in front of him. Should he beat Davis, then his focus should be on Direll. I feel Direll will beat Bika.
Eubanks Jr needs a few more fights before fighting DeGale. Also he needs to come of with some different antics. It's like watching his dad all over again. I do think Eubanks will be the man in the UK in a couple of years.
If anybody should fight Chavez Jr it should be Ward because he deserves the big payday that this fight would bring. Most likely Chavez promoters will steer clear of Ward for fear of Chavez getting his a** thoroughly whipped.
I think a good fight for Eubanks Jr would be Errol Spence Jr should Spence decide to move up in weight in the future.
If this rumor is real then his 2 fights away from a title match
I don't particularly rate Chavez Jr in the grand scheme of things, if he applied himself properly he could be a force tho.. Saying that he would take dagale to the cleaners at 168
ESPN: Super middleweight: Titleholder Sakio Bika must make two mandatory defenses. The first is against Anthony Dirrell on Dec. 7. The winner of the fight was approved for one optional defense. Marco Antonio Periban and James DeGale were ordered to meet in a semifinal eliminator with the winner ordered to meet Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to determine the second mandatory challenger. Keep in mind that these orders are the WBC’s wishes and that often what it lays out does not wind up happening because either a fighter decides to go in another direction or, as often happens, the WBC ignores its own ruling.

Hes fed up waiting for a title shot? That's insane, maybe he should start fighting guys that will put him in line for a shot and Davis really isn't one of those guys. He thinks hes entitled and wants to take the easiest route to a title shot without facing a real threat.
Bika's WBC belt is accounted by Chavez Jr.
DeGale should move fast...
The WBC title will be Anthony Dirrell's on December 7th. Chavez will get his @ss beat by Dirrell plus its not a fact that Chavez can even make 168.
Eubank Jr is sh1t and DeGale would absolutely toy with him.
Have seen nothing from degale to suggest thats true.. Saying that tho i wouldnt rule out degale if they fought
He needs a better attitude and reality check. His skills are nothing spectacular and a domestic showdown against Eubank JR would really show him up if the latter moves up in weight.

To be able to fight for a title he needs to fight someone in the top 10,
someone like Abraham,Oosthuizen or Rodriguez
The winner of them fights can fight for a title

This is the truth. How Hennessey has promoted him matches his ability, a fight with Eubank Jr would be good.
he needs a better team tbh
what happened to golden boy uk, with khan, khan jr etc
