Essentially open scoring...
I mean, its different, but all these whack scorecards are starting to get ridiculous... Its almost like they do it on purpose for attention, or dramatic affect...
I mean, what's the harm with open scoreboards for all to see? It'll discourage such robberies... I mean, judges can get away with bad scorecards since u don't know anything about it until the fights over, and by then the damage is done...
It'll also help corners and referees decide whether or not to allow punishment to continue... If u can see the that one fighter is down and is taking a beating, there wouldn't even be much hesitation for stopping it...
The only bad thing is IF a judge is scoring like a jackass, and is shows on the scoreboard, what do they do? Stop the fight and replace him? Discount his scorecard? IDK...
Anyway, I'm just venting, but what do u guys think?
I like open scoring I think that would be a good idea with the scorecard completely public. Also have the ref deduct a point from a fighter if they run/wont engage to deter fighters from coasting if they are up big.
There's always a solution to potential problems... They just have to be put into action...
The way people think nowadayz, if it doesn't completely work... Scrap the whole idea, instead of just adjusting it so that it does work
I say no. I don't think it would really stop bad scoring. Plus I like those moments before they announce the scores and you're wondering if they'll score it the same way as you.
