andy ruiz jr. vs tor hamer nov 23

vacant NABF title? I wonder why eric Molina vacated the NABF title he won in april? he beat tony grano who was the WBC#5 & NABF champion. he was scheduled to be in the WBC world cup as well. I figured ruiz vs Molina would have been a good fight. ruiz won the vacant title tonight.

hamer was winning the first 2 rounds... hamer landed a few nice combinations early including a couple 3 & 4 punch medleys. ruiz just put his foot on the pedal in the 3rd & overwhelmed him. hamer stumbled back to the corner & didn't want to continue. I actually think I saw him tell ruiz he was done boxing when they were exchanging words after the fight. I thought he said to ruiz "i'm done". he is 30 years old & at that moment I think he just said this isn't for me anymore & what Kellerman was saying could possibly be accurate but I agree with RJJ on the final accessment. maybe the tragedy that struck the sport last week has many fighters re-evaluating their will to continue risking their health...

Yeah took a hard body shot but he quit... andy has no defence at all and takes shots flush. hamer won first 2 rounds tbh and looked decent andy has ncie hands but is so easy to hit He was just getting warmed up. Be he took some big shots and showed a good chin

Easy fight for the fatman. Andy Ruiz Jr by KO inside 5 rounds. Ruiz has very good technique and can punch. I'd like to see Ruiz step up in class and take on some quailty fighters in 2014. He's definitely one of the most interesting names in the HW division. hamer & hanks would be good wins at this point. he's fighting other C level guys. I don't consider winning prizefighter a big feat. if hamer can't beat ruiz then we know he will be a journeymen from that moment on. that would be 2 prospects beating him in ruiz & glazkov.
