He'll never have his timing down, don't you see, he's shook, his father doesn't want him fighting Pacquiao, you don't think he has a team of handlers who meticulously study opponents?
And there is a YouTube video where Freddie Roach says if pac fought Mayweather it would have to be at a catch weight because they want to drain Mayweather so pac can have as much of an advantage as possible because Mayweather is that good. That's not opinion based or fabricated, those writes came straight from Freddie Roachs' mouth.
Lots of ppl are fed up with Mayweather, I bet he avoids all these fighters cause he knows he is not that good, fabricated B+ fighter with no balls
GGG would take his head off
He also demanded $100 mill from Mandela's daughter, and wouldn't even meet with her until he got $10 mill. An interesting thing (A VERY interesting thing) is that the company that was looking into MannyP's accounts and which he fired after a few days just happened to have been the same company which represented Mayflower in his dealings with Miss Mandela.........
It's this same company that the ignorant bigoted clowns on this site accused Arum of having had fired because they were finding that he was stealing Pacquiao's money.
I suppose it must have been some of the $150 plus millions that he made it possible for MannyP to earn..
BS...Link???
Exactly this labeling Pacquiao as a brawler is completely retarded, he probably has the most skilled offense out of all the fighters in our generation.
I don't know if he's the most skilled offensive fighter of our generation, but pac gives awkward angles and fights at a different rhythm. So there is a possibility that he may be able to give flits some issues early on, but once Floyd gets your timing down the fight is basically over.
...I like pac and i also like floyd so unlike it seems in your writing i have no hidden agenda. It is what it is.
I just believe 9 out of 10 times a boxer will beat a brawler, a boxer has more options as to how they can win a fight. A brawler only has one and thats by a KO. Ill take the one with more options as opposed to only one....
How do you think Pac could win?:boxing:
I agree with you 8 times out of 10 a boxer will beat a brawler. I just don't think Pacquaio is just a brawler....not a master boxer by no means but can use footwork, speed, and counter punching options also. He has an aggressive style but I don't think he's a "Bam Bam" or a "Provodnikov" type brawler. Definitely Mayweather has the edge in this fight, I just want to see the styles match up before they retire. Manny is also very unorthodox and awkward at times which may give Mayweather some problems.
Your right, endorsements have nothing to do with the purpose of my post. Mayweather is doing extremely if not better than any boxer even without them. The point was the suing of Don King over the Ali Act and the "proposed" demand by Floyd that the only way he'll fight pacquiao is if he joined TMT and give TMT 5 fights which in turn violate the same act. I just went off subject because another member brought up the endorsement fact. I just wonder why he isn't sponsored by a commercial corporation like Nike or something? He's the best boxer of our era, correct? Even Bradley is sponsored by Nike. Is it poor management? Maybe you can help me on this off topic issue?
I think it has a lot to do with the bad boy persona that he created. The bad boy persona that he created helped to catapult his popularity, but made major corporations run the opposite direction. Let's face it, we all may think Floyd is a great fighter, but none of us want or kids to act like him. I could be wrong, but I think that is the reason he doesn't have any endorsements.
I just never heard of the Ali Act until I read the article and saw how if the case could be made against Don King, there seems to be a similarity to what TMT proposes in order for Floyd to fight Pacquiao. No parties have acted I agree. But Floyd did propose it and it seems like in the back of his teams minds, it is pretty far fetched to acquire. Just my opinion, never heard of suing from the act. All I'm asking is that the terms to me fit the prior article. Arum is a Harvard lawyer, he may be guilty of it also but smarter in his approach. do you see that the demands seem a little farfetched at least?
Absolutely, the demand is or there a bit, but I don't at all believe it's really a sticking point for the fight to be made. I personally believe that both fighters want to fight each other and they would have by now if it weren't for arum. Arum is a very intelligent business man and promoter, however as a whole I do not believe he is good for the sport.
It doesn't surprise me that floyd would violate the Ali act. I doubt hes ever read a contract in his life which is why Al Haymon has him on allowance and he has no endorsements
As suppose to stupid PAC who could be earning mayweather esque paydays had he been smart enough to leave uncle bob
Dude just stfu your hatred for Floyd is a cancer and is going to kill you!
TMT is not a promotion company. Mayweather promotions is his boxing company. TMT is like a circle of friends, a life style.
Didn't know that, I thought TMT was Mayweather Promotions one in the same. Thanks for letting me know.
But we should take your word over theirs.....lol. After boxing he will get many endorsements if he chooses to. While he's in the midst of his career its obvious he doesnt need them, after his career He wont be in the spotlight of boxing therefore he wont have the mic in his face while PROMOTING the fight. Unless you guys still dont get that he does this act or previously did it as a way of PROMOTING his fights, hell he even has admitted as much. And if he didnt promote himself the way he does he would be Andre Ward (great skills but hardly any fans, Sugar shane was always classy and humble and most of you didnt support him or recognize his skill, so cut out the bovine scatology. Look at Gary Russell Jr, he has tremendous ability and all class yet most of you pay him no mind and he's whooping people (i know he needs to step up the comp, but people at his weight are scared to give him a shot. the same could be said for GGG, but he's ***** so its different).
Don't take my word home skillet, here is the quote from ATT and Reebok from a 2010 Las Vegas Review Journal:
"AT&T does not sponsor Floyd Mayweather Jr. We have sponsored several boxing matches, including one that Mr. Mayweather fought in (vs. Shane Mosley on May 1, 2010), but AT&T hasn’t and currently does not sponsor Mr. Mayweather personally . . . . The initial media report stating that we sponsored him was wrong and we are in the process of correcting that . . ."
And here is another from the same story:
"Reebok spokesman Daniel Sarro informed the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
Reebok does not currently have an endorsement contract with Floyd Mayweather Jr. We had a relationship with him in 2009 and earlier this year, which was centered around two specific fights.

Wouldn't manny and bob be in violation of the act for doing this. With tim and jmm? Is manny a coward for doing that?
Bradley signed with TR and got a Casamayor fight not Pacquiao first.
He signed with TR in PURSUE of a Pacquiao fight. Big difference.

First he asked for retarded tests to duck Pacquiao.
Then he said he would only fight him if Pacquiao took $40Mill flat and Mayweather took all of the PPV revenue which would make him around $100M
Then he said he had to actually sign to TMT and give him 5 fights
Fraud will ALWAYS find an excuse to not fight Pacquiao or block the fight from happening
^^^^^ pretty much this.... Yet the self appointed great PBF has a following. Idk how people can be fans of him.
As far as management Floyd has the best in the business only Lebron James comes to his. After this Showtime deal only a bad crack habit or investing large sum in pea juice will make him go broke.
I agree why no endorsements...he needs to leave Ellerbe and get with a better manager. Something wrong in his management in endorsement revenues. I have a feeling he will not get 40 mil his next fight due to contract....if he reads it...unless it's a viable opponent. jmo i could be wrong.
Heck Tim Bradley, Provodnikov...etc...have already big endorsements from Corporations...Nike...etc...why not Floyd? Bad management I guess?
Because a guy that is known for saying outlandish and racist statements and is coming off a jail stint for hitting a woman and threatening his own children's lives is toxic for most companies to pay any endorsement dollars. He used to have some deals with ATT and Reebok but both dropped him and Reebok even went so far as to deny they ever even had a deal with Floyd in the first place.
Floyd makes enough without them but don't think it won't affect him. Once the boxing dollars stop coming one wonders were the revenue for him will come. He is like TO and Barry Bonds were many people tolerate him because he is doing things in the sport. Once that ends not many people will want to deal with him and those TMT shirts that look like they were printed up at a mall Kiosk is not a viable revenue stream long term...
TMT in reality is just a clothing line not a promotional company; that company would be Mayweather Promotions but they don't have a LLC so for all intents and purpose its not a real company yet either. They all fight under Golden Boy license so no act violated.
