Ward-Rodriguez Undercard?

we just speak the truth. HBO spits out a few good fights with a ****ty undercard then some decent fights with no televised undercard. I am excited for some of their upcoming cards (Wards return, Pacquiaos return,which should not be PPV,Stevensen/Kovalev card) but Showtime has been stacking cards with better fights Zab/Paulie Lara/Trout Alexander/Porter Bika/dirrell all in one night (as much boxing as a month of HBO and then Broner/Maidana Karass/Thurman angulo and Leo santa cruz all on one card. Also showtime has a card with bey and jleon love on dec 6 i think. I don't see how that is network Bias saying Showtime is killin HBO lately I wish Roy would go to showtime though. Bhop will be commentating on the upcoming showtime cards so that is good too :beerchug: Did you not notice sho had 1 card in october and 0 in November? That's pathetic output. They are also getting trounced in the Nielsen rating, and the FOTY stakes. But hey as long as there's suckers getting excited for trash like Zab vs Paulie, they'll be ok

The undercard is horrific

Meh, I think both networks are doing great. What I like about Showtime is their undercards. What I dislike about HBO is usually their undercards. What I like about HBO is their willingness to match fighters with out-of-house opponents who have pulses. That's the biggest thing I dislike about Showtime, they never ever match their fighters against guys who aren't with GBP, who have a pulse.... when they do..... its showcase fights against terrible fighters like Gusev. Adamek-Glazkov, Degale-Davis, and Daniel Ponce De Leon are going to be fighting in separate broadcasts so there will be a decent lineup throughout the day.

I can see why it may seem that way. I wish it was true lol. I am just annoyed with HBO denying us fight fans. As fans we must have high expectations otherwise boxing is always going to remain a niche sport if it carries on this way. HBO has gone so downhill it ain't even funny. HBO has had the 3 highest viewed broadcasts of the year. You're also saying that Showtime/GBP should be applauded for nothing but in-house fights. It wouldn't be a good thing for Showtime/GBP to have one of their fighters fight a guy who has a pulse who's not with them? I could care less, I just thought your post was kinda silly IMO

Showtime have outperformed them by a mile, but what makes it crazy is that all the fights come from just one promoter. Another great thing they're doing is showcasing talent on the extreme cards, which means more boxing for us on the right platform, instead of guys like Crawford co-headlining in pointless fights against nobodies.

That sucks! They don't show enough boxing as it is, and when they do they give us 1 lousy fight! They do this often, just a few weeks ago we had Alvarado-Provo. Showtime never do this and almost all their fights come from one damn promoter. No wonder why HBO are overpaying with their left over budget and making legendary nights and other crap to fill the schedule. HBO was blown away by showtime this year lol
