Austin Trout and Mosley are better than any body on GGG resume. Not to mention a loss to the P4P king in Money Mayweather.
Name 1 person GGG has fought that better than Trout or a faded Mosley?
In addition to being washed up and on a bad streak, Mosley was unranked and undersized at SWW. He just said a month ago, he'd prefer not to fight Mundine at 154, but he'll do it for the money.
It didn't hit me till i saw them numbers, HBO had a off year. Hopefully they pick it up next year.
The overall trend is down for boxing. Showtime is doing even worse, their 2 best fights of the year were seen by under 500k viewers each
Yeah those ATG wins over Mosley and Baldomir hold that suggestion in good stead.
Let us not also forget the back and forth war against Hall of Famer Jose Miguel Cotto.

Not bad for someone nobody knows! Hey Sergio he can out draw you fighting in the sold out little room at the Garden against a marginally know fighter!
Amazing how a guy who could box AND punch draws interest! Ray
I am still not sold on GGG yet. While he does show tremendous power, he looks a little slow. It's sad when Canelo (who has been moved along very carefully) has a leg up on you in terms of resume.

Seems like no one is planning on mentioning this, so I guess I will. None of you guys are going to give credit to Stevens for helping put up these numbers by talking up a storm and keeping the fight in the media? He made people want to watch. Every one knew he was going to go quickly, I personally predicted under 6, so he surprised me. He really talked a lot and kept his name out there in the media. No one will agree that he had a bit to do with those numbers, but he actually did. I think Golovkin's next fight against Murray will do less because both guys will be "gentlemen" towards eachother. It's called pre-fight hype for a reason, Stevens understood this.

LOL. Nah. They call him "undercard Quillin" for a reason. Quillin and Schaefer have been putting out press releases talking about how GGG doesn't generates ratings and headlines at the MSG "Theatre" and not MSG. This kind of shoots down all of their bull****.
lol, the theater has like 300 seats
I think GGG has headlined 3 of his last 4 fights, Quillin has yet to headline his fights.
Correct me if i'm wrong

People probably heard the fighter was from Kazakhstan and thought it was part of a Borat sequel.
Most likely....I saw a bunch of dudes with thick mustaches in there
