he have a exiting style and charity to fight. I know that he dont have chance againsta K brothers but I want to see him against Widler, Chisora, Paluev, Adamek, Helenius, Stiverne, Povetkin
He is not as out of Shape as Solis but he didn't go tub of lard yet because he is a bit more commited. That being said i feel their pain when i came from Cuba as a kid i gained 40 pounds in 3 months those big macs were amazeballs to me. First time i went into a mcdonalds I was like " You mean i can haz burgers everyday with real cow meat???!?!??!!?!?!?! NO SOY BULLSHIT?!?!?!?! Oh lawdy lawd i loves the US of A O.O!"
:lol1:
Jajaja I can relate to that, when I first touched down on American soil I was 6'3 178 pounds and in about 6 months I was 222
I wish he would show up in shape. I wish every Cuban HW would show up in shape.

With a lil bit of time, he can fvck with Wlad. It's about the body work when you fight those big guys. There's nothing funnier than seeing short heavyweights jumping trying to hit the head of giants when all they have to do is get low and bang the body.
He is pretty solid, I think the Chamber's comparison is decent although they are different in a lot of ways.
I don't think Perez is a very big puncher, now in comparison to Chamber he has a real heavyweight punch but he isn't really a stop you guy, he is more heavy handed and if allowed to hit a guy clean the damage will add up quick.
He is a very solid contender though very well rounded especially for a heavy. Tough to say if he will be elite because a lot of that comes down to how dedicated you stay but I do think he can make some waves and is certainly not an easy out for anyone.
Doesn't Wilder need to fight him next in a WBC eliminator?
Wilder really needs to NOT fight him more like
not a safe bet for not a lot of money
(which is why Perez has been so inactive in general)
This is what I was referring to:

GBP is trying to get Wilder to skip Perez and go straight into the Arreola/Stiverne mix according to Sampson.
Its supposed to be:
Arreola-Stiverne II
Wilder-Perez
We'll see how it plays out. Perez is just coming off a brutal fight though. I hope he doesn't get screwed over some political bull****.
ok, i gotcha,, thanks for the info,, i didnt realize it,,,
Perez vs Stiverne would be interesting imagine the distance not needed to land shots they'd have to be no more that two feet apart from each other at all times or no one would land anything.
i would like to see that fight,, but i thought it was wilder-stiverne-arreola in the running for the elimantor

h2h yeah perez would beat chambers,,
all im trying to say is that perez will have a career like chambers,, he will win some like he did last night but he will lose vs top level guys
I think he is the new eddie chambers,,, we will win some and lose some, but he does have some nice skills,,
he has much more pop than chambers. great chin, too. chambers is faster, but what does he really do with his speed?
the legs on perez are absurd. considering the damage he did to poor mago, we know he can punch.
perez will outshine eddie mang...tbh i never was a fan of eddie, yeah he has skills etc. but he aint fckin with perez. what solid opponents did he beat? didnt he go down to cruiser and wasent succesful?
amen brother!
chambers had solid wins over brock, lost to povetkin in an elimantor, beat peter, undefeated dimitriko when he was viewed as a future threat to the klits, got robbed vs adamek, also beat guinn, and a few other fringe contenders/journeymen,,
and yes he went down to cruiser and got upset and looked really flat there, but in no way was chambers a bum at heavy
yeah it was a very entertaining fight,,,, Like i said perez is probably better suited to be at heavy than chambers, but i dont think he will have more success than eddie,,, eddie had some solid wins and so will perez but both will come up short vs the very top guys

He can come in better shape and work on stamina , and I think he can give the k brothers a true test.
He has really good skills , good movement , good chin , power works behind a jab throws some of the best combinations I've seen in a while from a HW in terms of speed and power combined.

I've been saying pretty much this for years on here

oh yeah agasint the klicks without a doubt. a fight wont break with them.
u cant deny that this fight has to be the best fight we have seen in the past years in the heavyweight division
mike perez>>eddie chamber
