Worst Face-Off: Paquiao-Rios

I thought it was great! Absolutely loved seeing that fire in Pacquiao's attitude and spirit, specially when he said this was still HIS generation. This will be a hell of a show for us fans who love action.

Like Rios liking getting hit by a man more than sex. I could maybe understand liking boxing more but he doesn't do that too often lol

Definitely wasn't the best. Several awkward moments where I wasn't sure what anyone was really talking about.

serg/jcc was one of the best imo, even though they were speaking spanish and had to read subtitles the face off was tense and seemed like genuine dislike. Maybe subtitles makes it better cause the ruslan one was pretty good lol The only one I really liked. Sergio gave him a verbal whooping then did it in the ring lol

Kellerman did a horrible job of being objective. Rios seems out of his league and showed how low class he is. But that's not a surprise, this is the same guy that made fun of Roach for his Parkinson's. Kind of this. Pac had this smile on his face like he coulndt believe this is who hes fighting. Pac didnt look like he felt threatened AT ALL. I could swear Pac said "You dont even know what youre talking about". When Pac laughed at the sex thing its almost like he had some flashback of some crazy sex he probably had with some chicks and was like "...youre not having the right sex" lol It was cringe worthy...Pac just knows hes flat out better than this guy. Is it me or did he tell Rios somethin like "Just because youre in great shape doesnt mean youre going to win the fight"...wasnt paying attention there

I haven't watched a single HBO promo in its entirety since Martinez-Chavez 24/7. I only skimmed few, there's just no point. Unless there's some admosity there, all the face offs are doomed to failure. it was a pretty good faceoff to me, i loved how manny was acting like a little kid cracking up when he heard the word sex. but rios...dude is dumb as rocks and takes himself so seriously lol Well, the entertainment of a Face Off lies in the build-up for me. Maybe for you not so much, and that's cool. For me, that's why I didn't care for this episode. No tension, no build up.

I respectfully disagree. I understand what you are saying, especially as far as religion is concerned, but I was really feeling Manny's composure and focus. You could tell by his expressions that this is not his first rodeo and I take him at his word that he's still committed. Can't wait for this fight. Manny's speed will be too much. Pacquiao by stoppage. Let me clarify myself some...it's not his composure I have a problem with, it's that instead of exhibiting some controlled aggression against Rios, Pacquio took a yoda like angle to the whole thing. I'm a spiritual person and don't have a problem with religion at all, but I felt it ruined what could have, otherwise , have been one heck of a good face off, that's all. Not being his first Rodeo, Pacquiao could have jumped on the opportunity to exhibit not only a renewed stronger will to win, but an assumption that his training is greater than Rios's and no matter what it will always be and will always result in a win. Instead, I got the impression that Pacquiao believes that no matter how hard he tries, things are predetermined and what will happen will happen regardless. It just underplayed the whole Face off, that's all.
