I mean as far truly talented fighters that are all just about evenly matched
(NOTE: When I talk about a division, I include a division above and a divison below as being part of that division
I mean, its got Rigo, Donaire, Garcia, Russel Jr., Mares, Gonzalez, and you guys know the rest better than I do
Lomenchenko (spelling?)
Just from that lineup alone, what do u guys think?
147, too many top guys have been exposed already
168, one guy already clearly beat the second best guy in the division... And the second best guy in the division is clearly miles better than everyone else in the division
160, GGG and who else?
JUST MY QUESTION, what do u guys think?
That is retarded :pat: You should only include the fighters that are actually active in the division, what's the point of including JMM in the JMW division?
175 (lol): Andre Ward, Kovalev, Stevenson, Hopkins, Froch, Kessler, Stieglitz, Pascal, Bute, etc.
160 (lol): Andre Ward, Mayweather (154 lol), Martinez, GGG, Froch, Kessler, Quillin, Canelo, Trout, Lara, Andrade, Martirosyan, Barker, Stieglitz, Angulo, Kirkland, Molina, etc.
147 (lol): Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley, Marquez, Canelo, Garcia, Matthysse, Lara, Trout, Angulo, Molina, Alexander, Andradde, Martyrosyan, Kirkland, Keith Thurman, Maidana, Broner, etc.
Lmao, whenever I make a non-threatening slightly out of the box thread that doesn't dick-ride one fighter or hate on another I get these kinds of comments
I try my hardest to explain every little instance of what I'm asking without making it too long... But I always miss something becuz common sense just doesn't exist on this website...
First of all, I specifically picked the featherweight division for a reason and that seems to be the only division you didn't bring up
Second of all, you don't have to include EVERYONE in one division above and below, you pick certain guys... E.g. Not Marquez, or Bradley up to 154, but YES to Floyd, Manny, Keith Thurman, Ortiz, Berto etc...
Third of all, NO JACKASS, you don't drop Ward down to 160, you move guys like GGG, Martinez, Chavez Jr., UP to 168 (something that has been discussed before)
Its no where near as complicated as you're making it out to be...
Dumb asses on this site, I swear... Just becuz this thread topic requires boxing knowledge and doesn't involve dick riding...

Divisions are only legit by the fights that are made there.
What good is it to have 8-10 talented fighters, if they don't actually face each other?
You look at potential match-ups that could happen at 147 and could be huge for the sport, but they have very minimal chances of happening because of politics.....so all in all it doesn't really matter who is in what divisions unless the biggest fights they can give us happen.

Garcia left, Rigo is not in it and Donaire hasnt even fought there
Different answer now?
