Golovkin is proving to be the best bang for your buck boxer.
Na, he'll take home half of that after paying promoter, manager, corner and of course good ol taxes.
Fat dan also added this.
@Milkman__Dead No, that was the total package including his promoter I believe.— Dan Rafael (@danrafaelespn) October 31, 2013
Keep in mind Edwin Rodriguez is making over $1 million against Andre Ward as the challenger (Berto like payments right there).
That should tell you GG is getting banged in his ass financially. He better ask K2 why is his pay check so low compared to similarly popular fighters from other promotional stables. OR, he could buy out his contract and sign with Haymon and a better promoter.

I think Edwin is with Haymon, those guys tend to get paid extra.
Risky, but the best choice for him.
He's K2, I don't think they hold as much influence in the U.S as they do in the European market. I think he's being marketed pretty well right now and it's showing. Hopefully demand will finally get him the bigger fights, but that all depends on Cotto
Golovkin definitely deserves the big fights to give him that push he needs. I see Martinez and Cotto looking elsewhere unless HBO steps in with a ridiculous amount.
A wise investment for HBO but risky in some ways for Golovkin. Nonetheless it is best for the sport when its fighters stay fighting.

Trading big bucks for exposure. 4th HBO fight, third this year, likely more to come. They wanted to broadcast his Monaco fight

this is curtis stevens 4th fight this year.
He has fought 10 rounds this year. I'd say he's made pretty good coin considering the amount of time he has spent in the ring to earn this payday.
