I wish Mayweather would give up his 154 pound titles and declare that his last 4 fights will be fought at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds and not an ounce more. When I just now read that Roy Jones would drop to 170 pounds to fight Floyd I was disgusted. It's been years since Roy won a good fight. Floyd would beat him even if the fight was at 170 but nobody I know is interested in Roy Jones or a fight like that. Not very many fans really want to see Mayweather-Hopkins at 160 either but at least Hopkins is an important fighter and he can still fight at a very high level. Floyd's dad will talk Floyd out of fighting anybody at 160 pounds even if Floyd is thinking about taking fights against bigger men and I don't think he is.
