Bob Arum said Timothy Bradley is the undisputed 147 champ...the things he says lol

Bradley is a hell is a hell of a fighter. I always liked him. People never gave him his due way back when he was the best at 140 after beating Alexander. While at 147 he was legit wins over a non-contender Provodnikov at 147, trinket holder Marquez who is an ATG, and a close but controversial win over Pacqauio. I know Arum promotes Bradley but even he knows better. Mayweather has the best resume at 147 out of everyone ranked there. Is a two time lineal champion and has beaten better competition than anyone campaigning there. The other belt holders are Alexander and Broner who have little to no claim as the true champion their. I say, let Bradley fight Mayweather and settle who the undisputed champion is!!!! Bradley-Mayweather would create a universal 147 lineage. Hope it happens

He may have had a point if Bradley clearly beat Marquez, which he didn't. Clearly beating Marquez should have made Bradley the champion, because Marquez>Guerrero. But instead Floyd beat both Guerrero and Marquez in dominating fashion, with clear wins against Ortiz and Mosley in between at 147 + clear wins at JMW against Cotto and Canelo which also make him the champ at 154.

Unlike many I actually like Arum and think he does a pretty good job at what he does or he would not be so rich from doing it. He is a smart man but someyimes smart people say and do stupid things. This was a really stupid thing to say. You could pick 100 boxing fans at random from any place and ask them who they thought was the real true champion at 147 pounds. I am pretty sure all 100 would say Mayweather is the real welterweight champion of the world. I think Bradley would be rated by most fans as the number 2 welterweight right below Mayweather.
