Mayweather is one of the bests but who has the chance to beat him? He looked good in his last two fights but to be honest, he was fighting fighters that get tired easily and weren't as fast as him. I'm not hating on floyd I'm just asking if there is any boxer with the hand speed, food speed, and intelligence to beat him
How is history going to be kind to the guy who blatantly avoided an entire stacked division,
and was the biggest roadblock to the fight of the century??
Floyd could have been so much more than he is, but he never took the risk.
History will be kind to floyd. His greatness is evident and everyone knows it. Youll just have to wait and see.
He took risks but some choose to say he didnt simply because they dont like the person. Neither do i but i know greatness when i see it
The only guy that will give Floyd problems is Lara. Lara will have to beat Trout and perhaps Canelo to get his shot at Floyd but it can and should happen.
His greatness will be appreciated more when hes gone. History will be veryvery kind to floyd. Greatest of this era.
As for the question, i dont care if he does or doesnt. His great legacy is set whether you want to admit it or not.
same way he ducked Martinez... they offered to fight Mayweather at the weightclass he's a champ in JMW.
They did the same for Pac, did he duck him as well?
How can you compare what Manny has done at 147 to what Money has done at 154. All of Mayweather's opponents were coming off big wins, and were actually top guys at the weight.
THE FACTS ARE: Mosley hadnt won a fight in years when Manny fought him, Clottey won NO big fights at 147, Cotto was coming off a shellacking from Margarito and a fight with Clottey many thought he lost, Bradley and marquez were not even ranked at the weight when he fought them either.Just as he is about to fight Rios who has done completely nothing at welterweight. Oscar de la hoya hadnt fought at 147 in almost a decade and looked like a zombie. You are saying things just to say them, these are the facts
As far as GGG, the fight at 154 makes no sense and you know it. He doesnt campaign there, has not title their, no big wins their, is not a top draw or big name fighter. All risk no reward. At 160 it makes sense but considering Mayweather has never weighed more than 151 for a fight or on fight night for that matter its hard to see it even happening.
Now if your agenda is to see him fight some one that is gonna be 15-20 pounds larger with power and size on him, its a great fight. To say he is ducking a fighter who is really not even is his weight class is BS. Just admit you are clinging on to GGG because he is far bigger, a puncher, and the only way anyone is gonna beat Mayweather is if they knock him spark out.
The same people who said Canelo would give him trouble and that they were surprised Floyd took the fight, are now back to calling him a cherry picker  I see you
I honestly believe unless he moves up again in weight, then no one beats him.
If Sergio or whoever wanted to fight Floyd at 154 you should probably campaign there if your that serious about that. Anyways your are argument is retroactive when Serio asked to fight Floyd he had only fought there once not three times. Paul Williams as far as I can remember was talking he wanted to fight Floyd at 147 but moved up to 160. The risk was equal with Canelo and Sergio IMO I felt he would beat both; the difference is a fight with Canelo became highest grossing fight in boxing history a fight with Paul Williams or Sergio would be lucky to do 1/3 of that. I know this may hurt but Floyd does have the power to pick and chose who he fights at whatever weight we wants and he won't be dictated to thats why everyone is begging to fight him not the other way around.
Did Floyd campaign at 154 when he fought Oscar? Cotto? Like I said, all excuses!
Once for Floyd? Marquez, Hatton, Ortiz, Sharmba all fought 0 or 1 time at WW .... all excuses by you
Who Floyd? Not true because he did in his last fight.
Those other guys agreed to go down. You know just like Canelo didn't want and said couldn't but had to go to 152 (CW). Again, they said they could!!! So again, stop with the excuses.
What were Mayweather's and Pacquiao's last fight night weight's?
150lbs and 151lbs respectively if I remember rightly. So they could both fight at 154lbs judging by size only. Yet Pacquiao easioy receives a pass for not even having the guts to rematch someone he already destroyed (Cotto) at said weight. What's the difference? If it isn't size, it must be ability. Why isn't anyone demanding Manny fight GGG? Isn't he good enough and Mayweather is?
Again, excuses. We are not discussing 160+. We are discussing a division that Floyd has accepted 3 times and holds a title there.
Why can Floyd fight Canelo and not those other guys? The answer is obvious but you are not willing to state the obvious and that is why I say that you are making excuses when you say what you say such as "Can't fight everyone"
Who was more of a threat/risk for Floyd, "Sergio Martinez or Canelo"?
By the way, Floyd hand selected many opponents who had 0 or 1 fight at WW. So if there is no problems with that logic then again, what was the problem to fight those other guys at above WW where Floyd now fought 3 times. So it proves that Floyd can fight at 154.

What excuses did I make; Floyd is the best of this era but I doubt he could beat a journeyman at 168 or 175. Paul Williams and Sergio both called out Manny they didn't fight so you are saying he ducked them since they didn't fight and they offered CW's. If either of them fought everybody who called them out they would fight 52 times a year cause that line is so long.

Sorry but you guys can't say he is the best of his era then start making excuses. Floyd, Floyd Sr and uncle Roger all have said this "It's not size but skills pay the bills"
There was even an interview with uncle Roger saying that "for the right money, Floyd can even do 160"
So if that is the case PLUS those that have been mentioned here had called Floyd out and had stated they would go down in weight (CW) then what is the problem?

Ain't no excuses they can't make 154

What Floyd is doing at 154 is similar to what Manny was doing at 147. Both are small for that division but once you fight once and then plan on doing it again and again then even if you are small for that division you can't start making excuses to the point that you are going to avoid opponents at that weight.
Floyd has now fought 3 times at 154. So he was able to fight there. So again, please stop with the excuses!
You brought up that they had not fought at 154 in years but it's been years that Martinez brought it up. Same with Williams. Heck both even mentioned weights even below the 154 limit!!!
Ain't no excuses they can't make 154
Who from 135 to up 160 that doesn't want to fight Floyd. Only Manny has ever been in the position to fight Floyd. They said they wanted fight him so ****!ng what that's what everybody says; hell Bernard Hopkins just said give him to May 3rd he can make 160 again to fight Floyd does that mean he's ducking Bernard also if they don't fight

For starters how about you name some guys that fight in the divsion....face it, Mayweather only fights there for big money fights....cotto, odlh, and Alvarez actually fought at the weight.Mayweather is a natural welterweight, they are middleweights and neither have not weighed less than 155 in years. How about you man up and admit you don't think anyone his size can beat him

He is ducking Hopkins lol
You're right because when Andre Ward said he would drop to 160 to fight Floyd after there halfway twitter war he was ducking him to.
