Beating the hell out of Mosley....
Yet he couldn't knock him down
Pac could...
And Floyd was out on his feet...
Convenient boxing revisionism you are displaying here...
are you retarded? briggs was never knocked down against vitali, i guess he didnt take a beating either. obviously you can beat the hell out of someone without knocking them down or out, shouldnt need to explain that to a supposedly grown man. its wasnt a savage, brutal beating but it was a beating.
floyd got caught, it was one moment. that one moment was better than any moment mosley had against pacquiao but it doesnt change the fact that floyd for the remaining 10 rounds plus the later parts of that same round he got hurt, was having his way with mosley in a way pacquiao didnt even come close to. yes, he had the one punch that dropped him, but after that he was following mosley around, incapable of cutting of the ring, missing with wild swings looking sloppy and frustrated. floyd did cut the ring off, he didnt get wild and he landed hard clean shots on a regular basis all night long.
if you break it down to the best single punch each fighter landed in each fight then manny did a better job than floyd. but if you look at both fights as a whole its blatantly obvious floyd did a far better job on mosley than pacquiao managed.
what is there to regret? arum refused to let pacquiao fight him. only thing to regret is not building a mind control device or perhaps put out a hit on the old bastard.

This could be a good and bad example, but I'll post it.
This is one case out of many. Sugar received 10 mil to fight Duran who received what, 1 mil according to 30-30. Duran was 72-1 and Sugar was the poster boy. Duran wanted Ray Leonard. He wanted to beat the poster boy of American boxing and he did and earned how much in the rematch. He took that chance against a bigger man and took it to the bigger man.
Floyd was pfp the best in the world no matter how Pac's fans slice it. Pac should've just took the test, took the lesser money which wouldn't have been that much and took Floyd's respect.
Do I blame Pac totally? No, he had Arum in his ear. Dlh left him, and Floyd left him. Arum tried to sick the inferior Mararito on Floyd who shook his hand after asking him why won't you fight me like the ***** that Margarito turned out to be. Karma prevails. Look at Pac, and look at Floyd.
Pac and Floyd can still fight only Pac will earn much less than he would've made had the fight been made at it's apex. It's still a fascinating fight if Pac beats Rios.
Both these guys had everything to lose....they kinda ducked each other.

will he regret it who knows, but he sure knows he could have easily taken pacquiao out way before jmm got the chance. an opportunity missed by him for sure.
and the fact is floyd will never get the credit for beating pacman now because he already got ktfo by a 40 year old lol.
maybe the only way floyd could ever get credit in beating pacman is if he beats him more impressively than jmm
what will it take? a KO before round 6. jmm was 40 so floyd will have to half that and KO pacman maybe round 3 to make it look more impressive.
its possible though floyds power is very underrated. and pacquiao's chin is overrated.
The good thing that came out of this whole episode is the random drug testing that has now made its way into the sport at a professional level, 4 years ago when Team Pac avoided the fight I made a reference to this. I said Random drug testing would become the norm and the people who were sticking to the "Let the commission do their jobs" would look stupid whenever we talk about how this fight fell apart. It didn't even take 10 years like I predicted, it only took 2/3 years and a JMM right hand to change all of that.
No.. The opposite in fact. He'll be like "See? I still got my wits about me i aint ounch drunk!" 20 years from now.
But... Not as regretful as Manny missing out on at least 40 Mil guaranteed. DAMN. That stings
I'm just curious to know what you people think about this.
I think its already bothering him, I mean of course it is. He's trying to live in denial, but that will all catch up with him, because people will never let him forget it.
Manny looked like slop against Shane, and you should be ashamed as a fan of his that that fight took place. You want to talk about cherry picking, look no further. Anyway, Sergio was begging for the fight. Manny told him he would do it if he got to 150. Sergio agree'd to go to 150 and Manny told em if you can make 150 you can make 147. I don't have to go any further on that matchup. Manny avenged his loss against Morales, instead of fighting the guy that just schooled Morales, but, that was ok right? And Holt was the biggest puncher at the weight, Manny never looked in his direction, and he did not have to look in his direction because it was a fight that did not have to happen, which leads me to my main point, don't act like Manny fought "all comers" because he did not. But I do commend you on admitting that Manny ducked Shane.
| judge: Duane Ford 107-120 | judge: Dave Moretti 108-120 | judge: Glenn Trowbridge 108-119
| judge: Dave Moretti 109-119 | judge: Robert Hoyle 110-118 | judge: Adalaide Byrd 109-119
If Manny looked like slop vs Shane, what did Floyd look like?
Let's be clear that Manny is not top 10 either, so slow down. Top 10 of all time, you have to do a whoooooooooooooooooole lot to get there, and I just don't see any modern fighter being able to crack in that door. Even if he did fight Manny, that would not have been enough for him to be in my top 10. Simply because I didn't believe Manny to be a threat so beating him, outside of shutting up those who couldn't call this fight for what it really was, a win would not have done that much.
You believe Pac is not a threat but the Mayweathers did. There are tons of quotes and videos out there to support this.
I think in time he will. When he goes to the Hall of Fame one of the first thing people will mention is that he never fought Pacquiao. Right now he has a lot of yes men around him but once the money dries up and he has a chance to see what the outside perception of him is then yes I think he will regret it.
Still baffles me why it didn't happen. For a guy who seems to be all about the money the chance to make a career payday in a fight he would have been favored in seems like a no brainer. Could have been a trilogy and made $100 million for each fight.
Both sides are to blame but Pac is generally liked more so Floyd will get the brunt of the blame.
He hasn't been knocked down in the last 6 years either, he hasn't been knocked out either.....can't say the same about other fighters though lol.....but hey, gotta Keep It Objective.
LLS that was pure Ether; I thought he was a Hectari alt until its booty dew this every other post.
