Would you say that we have already seen KO of the year for 2013 or does anyone see one that can possibly contend for that award in the future for the remaining months of the year.
So far I'd say KO of the year is definitely this

id say curtis Stevens vs Saul Roman beats out those k.o.'s already mentioned ... thats just off the top of my head.

both of these are pretty (f)uckin heavy duty K.O.'s
Saw both Mares-Gonzalez and Wilder-Liakovich in person so those stand out more to me. I think the Mares KO was probably the KO of the year. I meant WE've seen Dawson get beat up and he was already considered damaged goods going in. Mares was top 10 p4p and lost to like a 9-1 underdog.
We're talking about KO's. Chad dawson got back on his feet and the ref called it off so i wouldn't go with that one. I thought stevens ko'ing saul roman or GGG ko'ing ishida because those guys were brutally knocked out and they didn't get up. I agree that darchinyan-donaire II may very well be KO of the year but we'll see, we also have GGG-stevens coming up and i'm sure genady will put stevens on the canvas.
tko is a KO just to let you know. It will be considered for KO of the year even though you dont agree with that
yea...i was on vacation and my buddy emailed me a link to the fight...i was all comfy in my hotel room ,ready to watch a good fight...i get up to piss and the fight was over...shocking KO...that would probably be my KO of the year
Lol i took a call didn't wanna be talking in front of my buddies watching the fight so i go out on the balcony and 20 seconds later all hell breaks loose screaming inside i was like :grumpy: and hung up lol
Come to think about it ESPN and NBC have had good KO's this year. Jacobs KO;s Giovanni Lorenzo, Kovalev KO's Campillo, Curtis Stevens KO's Saul Roman, Javier Fortuna KO's Miguel Zamudo.
But a journey man KOing a world class fighter. Dawson-Stevenson

Nice. I forgot about the Danny Jacobs KO.
Check out Stevenson Boone. It was two punches but they really flattened Boone.
I honestly keep forgetting that was this year... only Dawson fight sticks out in my mind

It was good, but eh...Peterson got up. I'm still waiting for an out cold type of knockout. And just in general I don't think KO of the Year should go to world class fighters who knockout journeymen/bums.

If you are talking about world class impressive, you gotta go with Matthysse-Peterson on that because Peterson was never KO'd before and it was early as hell. But that is not my choice. I think we will see KO of the year within the next 2 months. I think it will be Donaire-Darchinyan 2.

I haven't really been impressed by any KOs this year between two world class fighters.
