So...What are your thoughts on Lomachenko?

I thought he looked great and will be a future star. The only thing that bothers me is that like Rigo, he should have turned pro a long time ago. I hate when talented fighters stay in the amateurs too long.

He was impressive for sure, to me it looked like he wasn't displaying his best talent because of the pressure. I think Salido might suffer a KO loss against Loma to be honest, he's a little too wide, too slow, and his age will most likely show when he faces the Ukrainian. His face will get cut up with his (Loma) fast punches.

His official record should be 7-0 now. He got 6 hidden pro fights in ukraine. He has had fights without headgear but this is his first pro fight with a proper training camp and hype around it. His WSB fights were as part of a team, this was him out by him self. I agree though we shouldn't be thinking of him as a 1-0 fighter ...

Funny thing is he is excellent on the inside. Not sure why he didn't show it and fight more on the inside but i suspect it had to do with him wanting to pace himself for 10 rounds. He said he wanted to go the distance and didn't mean to knock Ramirez out. Lomachenko is very good on the inside but he is also a very smart fighter. I think he saw early that Ramirez was comfortable in close so decided to try put a little more distance between them. When we see loma versus a more defensive technical fighter we'll see him at his best Imo

Very quick, sharp, has good footwork, but I didn't like how quick he was to shell up when the fight got to close quarters. Not being very good on the inside shouldn't be enough to prevent him from real success, though - and who knows, maybe he'll become a more confident fighter at close range as he has more pro fights. Really don't think they should be rushing him from the get go, though. He's not really old and I'd like to see the guy develop as a professional and not burn out after a couple of years. He's beating Salido's ass in January. This guy is incredibly talented. He barely opened the tool box tonight. Mikey Garcia vs Vasyl Lomachenko is going to be a huge fight in 2015, it will be like Nonito Donaire vs Guillermo Rigondeaux was for us hardcores.

The Salido fight will tell us just how good he really is. it was his pro debut. that guy never been koed and lomo made it look easy. who the **** fights a guy with 25 wins in his pro debut. gary russell jr. still fighting guys with losing records and going to decisions.

ATG? I don't know yet. But I thought he was impressive I may be exaggerating a little but with all the hype this guy's getting and his amateur background I think we may be witnessing something special in the next few years.

Impressive debut given his opponent, but it's way too early to make judgements about whether he'll even be close to an ATG.
