Garcia is in his prime and only getting better unlike Morales who was on a rapid decline at that point.
Point being, it's unlikely that Matthysse would do to Garcia what Pacquaio did to Morales in the rematches.
Pacman in his prime would whoop Devon and Swift, dude are you serious? Danny Garcia is stationary, how can you say he is a boxing technician?
Pacquiao a past prime half assed one outboxed timothy Bradley and this is a aPacman who was gassing, and Bradley is a way better crafty moving boxer than Swift.
Pacman has whooped guys who were much better technicians than Swift, Marco Antonio Barrera the same one who outboxed Prince Naseem hamed, also Ledwaba the 122 pound champion, pacman destroyed that dudes career, ledwaba was the guy hbo was trying to build up and than pacman out of nowhere demolished his career.
Just stop and Mosley running away would give anyone problems, that was out of his character he didn't confuse Pacman at all.
Pac's biggest problem is avoiding right hands, his defense isn't slick but he is a dynamic boxer puncher whether you like it or not.[/QUOTE

Dude read my post, I didn't say Pac couldn't beat Devon, Judah, or Swift. I said Matthysse was overrated and overhyped liked Pac because they fought the right kind of fighters(stationary brawlers) at the right time and looked great doing it therefore they were given waay too much credit for it, a la the Cotto vs Rodriguez fight, Cotto looked great but let's not forget the level of competition there, but after that fight now all of a sudden Cotto can beat Floyd, Canelo, and Trout by KO. It's kinda like the Jacksonville Jaguars beating Alabama Tide 49-21 then declaring Jacksonville would kill the Denver Broncos, get real!
Matthysse looked good or great vs average boxers and stationary boxers, but every time he stepped up in competition he lost....get my point.

Don't feed the troll.
Yes he is the next Pacquiao.......overhyped, overrated, and cannot adjust in the ring against boxing technicians (hence why he's lost to Devon, Judah, and Swift)

I see people are still shtting on Garcia yet he keeps destroying everyone who is supposedly suppose to beat him
This kid is the real deal, he will beat any boxer at 140 - 147 not named Floyd
I use to doubt him but slowly I am sold on him, kids does everything average, but he doesn't do anything weak
Lucas nut huggers are still crying
Bradley, JMM, Thurman, Guerrero would beat him, quite handily IMO.
Lucas beats him in a rematch.
Let's see how Broner does against Maidana, and even that's a 50/50 fight.

The next Pacquiao :lol1:.
Peps around hear have forgotten what PAC was. The dude came up in weight to fight Barerra, Marquez, and Morales pretty much back to back to back. I can't even think of a current fighter that had a great run like that.
That would be like Lucas fighting PAC, Maroid, and Mayweather back to back.
How soon they forget. SMDH at these rookies.
JUst to clarify, I never said Lucas WAS the next Pacquiao. I was just quoting Shaefer and analyzing it. I personally think he'll bounce back and be succesful and could definitely use that Garcia fight as a learning experience like Pac did with the first Morales fight
Hes not the next Pacquiao or will ever amount to 1/10 of Pacquiao's greatness
Garcia is no where near Morales. The worst version of Morales at his worst weigth class gave a decent version of Garcia hell in the first fight

Great post,,,, Green K to you
Your right, it wasnt prime morales, but morales was still a beast, i think the 12th round vs manny in that fight ruined him,, he turned southpaw and let manny T-off on him,,,, i think morales was never the same after that,,,,
prime manny crushes judah alexander and garcia,,, no doubt
Peps talk about Morales as if he wasn't prime but PAC was even worst, he was green as F. He he had was the jab jab power left. Morales was in a better state with his veteran experience then the young inexperience PAC.

Morales wasn't exactly prime at that point though while Danny is. Judah, Alexander and Garcia would all be interesting fights for Manny imo. I'd favor him to win but not just blow through them.

Right now they're interesting, but in his prime Pac would smash all three of them with ease.
