Rumour has it Khan won't fight Devon but instead Mayweather next May. Here are my thoughts: I think if he fights Devon and loses (which is a possibility, I see this fight as 60:40 Devon), then the megafight with Floyd is not interesting.
I had Khan losing his last fight with Diaz. If you really ignore the commentators and just score the rounds, you see that Khan didn't really win the fight against Julio Diaz. That being said, I don't think Floyd will knock Khan out and Khan is a difficult style match up - Because Floyd doesn't go for the knockout if he hurts his opponent. I think if Khan gets hurt, Floyd will stay in his shell to not risk getting countered in a punch exchange.
So - Khan using speed, footwork, combos and his jab, all improved by Virgil Hunter, can pose a problem for Floyd. Khan's chin might not play an important role just because Floyd fights very defensive.
So - however strange it sounds, Khan can be a problem for Mayweather, because he might win quite a few rounds based on activity (and speed).
Khan isn't scared of devon. I think the problem is money. Khan has no pull right now and team Alexander know it. They have the belt and are being hard on khan at the negotiation table. Personally, idc of this fight doesn't get made because I think devon is boring as f*ck and don't care for his fights. I would like to see khan fight again though.
Ring tv said khan still plans on fighting in December though. Prob gonna be berto lol
Wrong , Khan is not fighting anybody that can give him problems he doesn't have too .. Khan going to the UK to take a easy fight and be ready for Floyd
Khan has always been linked with Floyd going back like three years now. Mostly from Khan trying to throw his name out there. The fact is Khan is hard to negotiate with, however his offer to Bradley was more than fair. I just can't see Khan getting a fight with Floyd unless he looks dominate against a creditable opponent first.

Atleast 6 years... Sam Watson photobombing in the back as usual.

i think amir khan lose his confidence otherwise amir khan can easily beat alaxendar.Amir khan is way better than alexender in speed, skills, and alaxender is not a hard puncher.
Khan has been talking about the Mayweather fight for years. Every time it has appeared on the horizon he has lost. He simply does not want to risk losing a fight, and consequently Mayweather telling him to get to the back of queue.
Here's my theory - He doesn't want to fight a guy who is as fast as him since then he'll be losing his only advantage.
He doesn't mind fighting Floyd though because it's easy money
Yeah cus he knows that
1. when you lose to floyd it doesn't look bad on your resume. Just look at JMM still considered top p4p and ATG and no one even cares he lost to Floyd cus Floyd is just considered in another stratosphere/category and
2. he knows Floyd probably won't stop him so at least even if he DOES lose it will be a dignified UD/SD loss. So I don't think he cares about losing to Floyd at all he just wants that crazy cash bonanza
I would hate it, but Khan would have to be a goddamn moron to fight Alexander if Mayweather is willing to give him a fight next. The whole point of the Alexander fight originally was likely to make Khan legit for Mayweather. If Mayweather's willing to fight him without beating Alexander, which we don't know, than why should Khan bother with Devon?
