I like what I saw from Crawford. Very poised, great foot work, decent defense.
Klimov by no means a bum and a great stepping stone for Crawford.
There was talk of a possible fight vs Gamboa. Did that dematerialize?
He's becoming the black Golovkin, this hype is unbearable, I doubt the most hardcore fan could name his opponents.
No, he isn't. Look at all the threads of Crawford before tonight. There's probably an average of five posts per.
And you're right, most boxing fans can't name a single opponent . Fact of the matter is that hardcore boxing fans can see the potential just based off of what he did to Prescott given the circumstances.
If you think his fight with Prescott was boring and unimpressive, then I can't help you.
I didn't like seeing him southpaw, he looked stiff, kept his head too high, doesn't have that sharp straight left down the pipe
This...... he works really well in orthodox and gets more leverage on his punches but I think he sticks with southpaw when he finds that it makes his opponents feel less comfortable. Klimov looked as lost as Prescott when he fought Crawford.
I also think Crawford may punch a lot harder than what people give him credit for. Everybody is saying he needs to let his hands go more, but it's hard to do that when the opponent doesn't really want to engage. Kilimov was basically playing keep away as if he was just there to get his check.
The kid is so versatile .
Future p4p
This is exactly what I told his trainer after the fight. I put him right up there with the technicians in the sport
They might give up, I read he got 350,000 for Prescott, I don't get it.
Full of sh1t as usual. He made 125k, and that was a bump since he took it on short notice a division up
