Heres my 9th fight. Im in the red corner. Usually I am used to going super crazy and fighting a bit dirty, but this time I tried to be more technical, I think I needed to go a bit harder and a bit more crazy.
Tell me what you guys think?
Great job man!!! If you are actually consciously adjusting your style to improve yourself in an actual bout then you are on the right track, control of your instincts and applying the technique you work on is what you should be doing.
i have been adjusting between fight, i just need to work on putting all the adjustments together. This fight i wanted to move my head a lot and slip his jab, which i did. In the pasy i have always been really agressive, this time i wanted to stay in the center of the ring, but i prob needed to be a bit more agressive though
actually i have probably the best coach in town and he doesnt have limited experience, he has around 125 fights with over 100 wins and made the olympics but broke his hand and coudlnt box in it.

dont post vids on Boxingscene , every1 one here is a retried 10 time world champion and trainer of the decade. Just keep doing what your doing and dont let boxing scene ppl criticize you. Nothing but arm chair quarter backs
Let's spar sometime! :boxing::boxing:
Not bad, get inside though, and go to the body, you're shorter so it's easy for you. Give him angles too, step in when you throw the right!
hahahaha! I aint from eastman, they are just the ones who put on the card. I lost the belt when i lost this fight haha so you gotta fight the other guy foo
LOL Not bad man. Much respect.
Quit ducking me son, i'm coming for that Eastman boxing Welterweight championship belt!
AND i'm not taking no random drug testing either....Plus i'll need a catchweight....and a rehydration clause....

Not bad - You're aggressive and scrappy but I'd like to see a little more boxing and a little less brawling. Your stance is not bad- you seem to keep a tight guard but you're too stationary and stand too much directly in front of your opponent. You need to incorporate some lateral movement and start working 'angles' instead of coming directly forward all the time. Also, start employing some head movement and try to get into a defensive rhythm where you're moving, slipping, blocking, etc.
Your punches look good and you seem to have some power but you want to incorporate more boxing so that you can set up your shots better and play a little more defense
thanks man

bluntly, what I am saying is that for 9 bouts your skill level does not show the experience. I would expect to see that skill level from an absolute beginner or possibly a rushed too quickly 1 bout kid. It's not your fault though really, if you had somebody looking after you properly you would show some understanding of the art. By the video displayed I saw little understanding; what I saw was a kid who has the heart and really wants to do it but is not being brought along properly, not being educated.
you got the balls and the heart, that is obvious to me. but you are not being trained properly, that is also obvious. You can defend your coach, as you should, but I'm telling you that for 9 bouts you are lacking fundamentaly. you can only display only what you are taught or what is raw inside of you, the fights don't lie.
if that guy is all that you have in your town than do what you gotta do but eventually this guy is going to get you hurt, I'm tellin' ya.
how old are you? ........... Rockin':boxing:
im 24 turning 25 soon
It doesn't show. An olympic bound fighter would know to keep his arms off of the ropes when seated between rounds and why it's done lke that, but whatever. What state are you fighting out of?
I'd put a dollar on Carmine Ragusa over your coach.......... Rockin':boxing:
i am from canada, winnipeg, manitoba. And who the hell is carmine
the guy has some height on you yet you stay right at the end of his range. Don't be afraid to take that extra step in so that you are within your range to land some shots. I'm seeing that you are not afraid to let your right hand go, that's good. But after you throw each right hand you just look at him while you're getting back into position. If you need to adjust your body back to position you will notice that a hook fits perfectly in with the motion back to position. In general, you let a right hand go it's good to follow with a hook..... to the body or head.
I notice your one defensive manuever that you are comfortable with, you lean back alittle bit on your back foot with your chin hanging out and your body squared with your gloves near your headgear, lose that quick. Slip side to side, roll under, but that leaning back is just going to get you ko'd very soon.
One thing is obvious, you're green as they come. You don't know how to throw a hook yet or even a proper right hand yet. wtf is your coach teaching you? I venture to guess that the guy actually has very limited experience in the sport, a sure sign of that was inbetween rounds not to mention your skills that are still rather crudely raw for having 9 bouts.
You have great heart and a set of balls that are made of stone but I fear for you once you find the more experienced and properly trained boxers. If there is another coach in town I recommend that you look into him because the guy that you have is not helping you to grow.............. Rockin':boxing:
