Lets get one thing straight, I'm a huge Mayweather fan and I respect his dedication to the sport. On top of that I actually hope Rios retires Pacman on Nov 23. But I have to remain objective and ask an honest question. When asked about the Pacman fight, Floyd says Pacman needs to avenge his losses to Bradley and Marquez before they can discuss fighting eachother. As if to say, Pacman needs to "earn" the "opportunity to fight him". But if Floyd fights Khan, he contradicts that statement because Khan lost two fights back to back, fought a career lightweight (Molina), then narrowly escaped with a victory over a journeyman who dropped him (Diaz). He definitely hasn't earned the fight. So you may say "Money is the motivator"? My question to you all and TMT would be; Do you think Floyd would take home more money fighting Khan and giving him his small cut vs. Fighting Manny Pacman, paying him a flat 20-30 million (being that Pac has little room for negotiation after the marquez KO) and taking the rest? Anyone who says that fight isn't the biggest fight to be made still in boxing is kidding themselves. If Floyd is about MONEY why isn't a fight with PACMAN the next logical step? Your thoughts
Sadly no it isn't but I do agree that If PAC keeps wining I have no problem. I wanna see it just to end this debate, but after beating rios no.It is not about debates, it is about fights that the Boxing public want to see, fights that draw in casual fans and convert many into serious fans, fights the sport uses to launch and maintain Boxing relevance at the high levels like Floyd vs Canelo. Its about showcasing skills and or pitched battles with drama. Debates are specs of practically nothing in the grand scheme of the sport.
Well, your bank account isn't a part of the movers and shakers but that doesn't change the fact that as long as Pac stays winning, he is half of the equation of one of if not the richest fight in history.

Yeah that money! Unlike you I don't worry about others accounts. I worry about mine. Let it be the highest grossing fight of all time! The day after my account will be the same.Well, your bank account isn't a part of the movers and shakers but that doesn't change the fact that as long as Pac stays winning, he is half of the equation of one of if not the richest fight in history.
Spin it? Fighting anyone warrants a fight with Mayweather. Other's money? You mean the money that would beat just about any fight of the last 10 years? If you think a Pac Floyd fight would not be one of the highest grossing fights of all time, you are full of the same crap that predicted that Canelo would be the new king which was a lot of crap.

Big deal I choose Canelo to win? He didn't so oh well. It's a sport not life or death.
I don't worry about others money so no PAC beating rios does not warrant a fight with Floyd. If he didn't lose to Bradley fine I think it. Was am robbery too but I also think he lost to JMM in that robbery so he still lost 2 of 3 no matter how you wanna try to spin it.Spin it? Fighting anyone warrants a fight with Mayweather when the fighter generates world wide fame and attention. Other's money? You mean the money that would beat just about any fight of the last 10 years? Pac did not lose to Bradley, everyone knows that. Pac beating anything warrants a match vs Floyd unless you can come up with 10 make that 1 fight in all of Boxing that would be considered bigger. I wont hold my breath waiting.

Whether its the robbery v bradley or the robbery v jmm, pac has lost 2 out of 3. And i dont care about other peoples money so for me pacbeatig a low ranked 140 lbr fighting for the first time at 147 and coming off a loss and also arguably losing 2 out of 3 does not warrant a match v floyd.Pac did not lose to Bradley, everyone knows that. After Marquez koed Pac, i think the fight is likely to happen next year, Marquez showed Floyd that Pac can be beaten. The fight will happen soon, I promise... cant wait!!
Manny has to get back on the winning track before we consider the floyd fight again..
if manny destroys rios, then beats bradley/jmm,, then the hype will be back on a manny/floyd fight...
until then, its all just fantasy talk....
we are talking about a guy that has been out for a year, and in his last fight got put to sleep.... hard to make a big mega event after that,,,
Except for the fact that Pac isn't saying Mayweather has to beat XYZ opponents to "earn" the fight.
Mayweather didn't lose his last two fights and wasn't knocked out cold in his last fight. Pac fans have an uncanny ability to ignore facts that don't support their asinine opinions.

Retarded thread! If you had any sense or knew anything about boxing, you would know that the person who is preventing Mayweather vs Pac from happening is and always has been Bob Arum.
Comparing JMM vs Pacquaio 3 to Bradley vs Pacquaio robbery, you're definitely retarded.
I think you have confirmed to everyone on this site who is retarded
Now to address what you are talking. One was a worse robbery than the other.
Pac deserved the nod over tim but jmm deserved the nod over pac so either way you look at it Pac should be 1-2 in his last 3 fights and does not deserve a fight with floyd
Pac deserves a fight with floyd as much as khan does
Excuses, always changing, and you fall for it everytime.
Remember when Floyd said take the test and the fight happens?
Pacquiao said ok then.
Floyd said, I'm going on vacation:dance:
except in reality Pac never agreed to take the test.
Crazy how facts trump what you say
My thing is this, When they ask Floyd about a Pacman fight he speaks about what Pacman must do to "earn the fight", You ask him about Khan, and he says I'm going to relax and let Al Haymon deal with that. Shoot down the Khan fight the same way you shoot down the Pacman fight. Don't be selective with who has to "earn" the right to fight you. I call a spade a spade, just I because I like somebody doesn't mean I will be oblivious to their double standards.
hes tired of talking about it. People have been asking him about a fight for 4 yrs now, that he feels is top ranks fault. He aint trying to get all excited for that.
Its called karma and Top Rank is getting alot of it right now
if you truly call yourself the THE MONEY TEAM, would you let petty a rift in a relationship stop you from generating 100 million dollars? If the answer is yes, you ain't THE MONEY TEAM
Floyd just did that with out pac LOL
he lost against JMM twice and if you dont think that pac lost the 3rd fight in that sham
well then he lost to bradley
Comparing JMM vs Pacquaio 3 to Bradley vs Pacquaio robbery, you're definitely retarded.
When will people understand Top Rank/HBO fighters don't fight Goldenboy/Showtime fighters? It's not like it's news or anything. It's been going on for quite a while now.
They repeat the same BS for replies..To them there is no conflict between the two business(Promotional companies) and networks
He didn't lose his last two fights. And it has nothing to do with Pac supporters. The entire Boxing world would prove just how big this fight is if Pac wins his next fight and Pac and Floyd signed the fight. Don't kid yourself into thinking a fight between them would not be huge among casual and dedicated fans and the world. Pac is more than Relevant, he and Floyd are the biggest fight left in Boxing at this time if Pac wins his next fight.
he lost against JMM twice and if you dont think that pac lost the 3rd fight in that sham
well then he lost to bradley
