In some astonishing news, all of the 18 boxers who fought on the busy Golden Boy card on September 12th have tested positive for banned substances by the Nevada Athletic State Commission. The busy bill was a prelude to the immensely successful Mayweather v Alvarez PPV with the Thursday night event packed with Mexican and American fans in Las Vegas for fight week. Shawn Porter v Julio Diaz headlined the MGM Grand card in a welterweight rematch as well as a high profile draw between super-middleweights Badou Jack and Marco Antonio Periban. There were incredibly no exceptions as all of the 18 boxers who participated that night failed the routine tests for as yet unspecified substances.
Shawn Porter v Julio Diaz (Porter UD)
Badou Jack v Marco Antonio Periban (MD)
Julian Williams v Hugo Centeno Jr (NC)
Jermall Charlo v Rogelio De la Torre (Charlo TKO7)
Errol Spence v Jesus Tavera (Spence TKO1)
Robert Easter v Lance Williams (Easter TKO1)
Dominic Breazeale v Jon Hill (TKO3)
Terrell Gausha v Bruce Runkle (Gausha TKO1)
Diego De La Hoya v Luis Cosme (De La Hoya TKO3)

Hot damn. We have a problem.
EDIT: The source has removed the content, so it's likely and hopefully just trash.
This is not true. All 18 fighters were negative, as I noted in my article on this website.

My information came directly from the commission, which sent a release out to the various boxing press.
Not surprised, could be a contamination. You guys must don't remember when Top Rank's whole card got suspended for testing positive in 2011.
They suspended
Tommy Z
Andy Ruiz jr
John “Action” Jackson
Terrance Roy
David Robinson

I think they lifted the ban due to contamination.
The link to the page is not working any longer.

GBP has probably filed suit. lol.
The danish site still runs it:

Yeah.
The guy that Spence fought was obviously juiced to the gills.
To be fair to Spence, he thought he was fighting TBA. Jr's only chance against TBA would be to use PEDs.
It was a good job his opponent changed at the last second.
Wow.
I actually thought I remembered reading they all tested Negative? Not sure if Boxingscene released that story?
Crazy news if true.
yea, it was on the front page.

Odd. I know nothing about the site that says they where positive. The thing is that I found the news in one of the most respected danish newspapers. That's not to say that they wouldn't get it wrong though.
That's weird, that other boxingscene article said they all tested negative.
It wouldn't surprise me with all of those TMT guys testing positive though. J'Leon Love, Bey and the rest have already proven that doping is prevalent in the Mayweather gym.
all sports are like this...i was watching a show about MLB & it's lab rats. they have come along way in testing. he said he could really open up a can of worms on baseball if he ever decides to show his findings from the past. he has gone back over years of samples & retested with todays technology... not good findings but some items found were not banned substances then so he has left it alone( i'm sure his employers MLB have made him zip it)...
Seems highly unlikely that all 18 fighters could test positive, unless it's a substance that's been recently banned which they all weren't informed of in an updated list of exclusions. Or it could be contamination as previously mentioned.
All 18 fighters? Even the b side? Those guys make less thanit costs to buy gear at the bottom of the card. Question the validity of these results, while still recognizig that this is a dirty sport
