Joseph Agbeko @Kingkong4real 4h
U are right bro RT @The_True_Champ: If Rigondeaux fights @Kingkong4real next, I'll take the credit for it. You're Welcome!
Joseph Agbeko @Kingkong4real 3h
Just heard it from the horse own mouth #AmBlessed
Joseph Agbeko @Kingkong4real 1h
Its made. I got it #LetsGo #KingJoseph #ThankGod
Date issue. Arum and HBO apparently wants to co-headline with Andre Ward/Edwin Rodriguez on November 16th because Andre Ward's name is easier to sell as a headline. Team Agbeko isn't too happy with having just over a month to prepare.

What do ya mean? Agbeko always throws that much, and the only time I remember him ever going down was against the hugely underrated Yohnny Perez. Even then it wasn't a bad knockdown and he wasn't too hurt. Apart from that he's never been hurt or down from memory.
Different division at 122lbs and different degree of defensive dominance in Rigon who will easily be the biggest natural puncher Agbeko has faced
CGNYC, you expecting a KO from Rigo here? I think he's a bit frustrated how things turned out after the Donaire performance.
Surely his coaches have been planning how to upgrade his offensiveness and increase his assertiveness - they know he can finish about any bantamweight in the world as well he should now. Top Rank has made HBO's expectations clear and looking at the landscape of the division those expectations of TKO and KO finishes are reasonable because there are no more giants in HBO's talent pool.
I hope Rigon delivers a spectacular all-round performance and secures a TKO stoppage by round five.

Great fight. I really wanna see how Rigo will handle 70+ hard punches coming at him in every round.
if he tries that Rigondeaux gonna knock his @ss out
I would expect Agbeko to get fucked up something fierce in this fight in a boxing sort of way, his only real chance is if Ringondeaux gets extra ****y (most like because he is winning so easily) and then Agbeko hits him with something huge probably wide that Rigondeaux totally isn't expecting.
Good observation. Rigo has shown a tendency of doing this in the past. He kept a lid on it versus Donaire; but, once he felt he saw all he needed to see, Guille gave in to a little showboating.

Finally Rigo gets a fight and hopefully it lands in Miami. Gamboa should jump on the undercard to make it a bigger event or have a good solid championship fight between 2 big name fighters.
Both cunts Bob Arum and Jeffrey Loria should work together to have the fight at Marlins Park in December.
I've been saying this for a while. If the-powers-that-be want to promote Cuban fighters, they need to set up a card like this in Miami. They can add a couple of young prospects like Felix Verdejo and Javier Fortuna to appeal to a wider audience. People say Miami sucks for sporting events, but I can't see why a properly promoted boxing card can't make money and excite future interest.

Good question, bro. Rigo's an interesting cat. You're never certain who's gonna show up. The Cordoba fight seems like it was a million years ago. Since then, Rigo hasn't looked back. His very next fight, as if to make up, Guille tore through Casey in one. Then he clobbered a cowering Ramos in six. Next was a five round annihilation of the woefully overmatched Kennedy. But then Marroquin survived twelve and rocked "El Chacal" a couple of times in the process.
I wasn't sure what to expect after that. It turned out that Rigo was saving a masterful performance versus a P4P fighter. Against Donaire, Guillermo didn't back down. He exchanged with Nonito and never showed a trace of wavering.
Of course, since the Donaire fight, Rigo's treatment has been despicable. Given his track record, he might be looking to take Agbeko out. Joseph's style will play into Guille's hard-hitting counterpunching. But, although Agbeko has been down a couple of times, he's never been out. I don't think Rigo will press too hard for the KO. In the end, he's too careful to take unnecessary chances. "El Chacal" only goes for the kill when he sniffs real weakness. I'll be impressed if Guillermo KOs Agbeko, but I think this one is going to the cards.
