So there are always lots of comments about is chin.....
Firstly....Can we keep the hating to a minimal.
Secondly best guesses as to why does he always jump straight back up after a KD!? He never buys his time.
My thoughts are he is to Macho for his own good
very true the smart guy ive seen was Bradley against Holt when he took a knee, and took his time to recover.
He also did that against Provodnikov last round i think when he took a knee and let time expire

First you say lets keep the hate to a minimal, then you hate on him a little bit yourself  but your right he's to macho for his own good.
Khan gets knocked out when he applies his aftershave to hard. Assuming he survives the actual shaving beforehand.
Jim Lampley: DOWN GOES KHAN.... WITH A SWIFT LEFT SWIPE FROM A GILLETTE FUSION RAZOR.
It's not his chin that I don't like. He can't help it if he can't take a punch. It is his constant talking and bragging and overrating himself that I don't like about him. He always has an excuse for his loses and poor performances. He acts like he did ok by beating Diaz when he looked like garbage against an unranked average fighter. He trashes Brook who has never lost and never been knocked down. He says he is the man to beat Mayweather when he lost to Prescott, Peterson and Garcia and almost lost to Diaz. We are always supposed to see this new improved Khan in his next fight but that Khan never shows up. He never admits he has a weak chin but blames it on fighting at too low of weight. Now we are suppose to believe when he fights at welterweight he will suddenly have a great chin and hit with incredible power. I don't think so. Khan will have good speed and decent power at welterweight but his weak chin and flaws in his boxing and defense will still be there. He will be in even more danger of being KOed because welterweights hit 7 pounds harder than Jr. welterweights on average. I think Alexander will KO him if they fight.
He has an amateur style. His style isn't really suited to the pros.
Hes a zip fighter who repeats the same thing over & over again.
Hes always been the same his run came against mainly defensive midgets that was made for him.
He'll always have success and overwhelm guys with his handspeed but he will come undone time and time again at top level.
Everytime hes fought a guy his own size, hes been bowled over.
Agreed but my point was he is better than good as an Am

Another Khan gets knocked out shaving joke, really original.
He tried to fight 'smart' and box intelligently behind his jab against Diaz. Its not a few faults he makes, its cardinal sins and he simply is not a very good boxer, his handspeed creates an illusion. After 3-4 rounds he slows and is a sitting duck.
Hes a good amateur.
There is zero thought in anything he does. He has too many flaws to rectify, hes highly flawed IMO
I don't feel the best way is to try teach him to box intelligently, it'll make him worse.
I think you should pretty much leave him as he was but make minor adjustments, glove positioning for a start which would help improve his power.
You can't take a guy who has been doing something for 15+ years and make major changes.

He is too flawed, hes going to get knocked out again but hes an offensive fighter. That is who he is, what hes best at. Hes never going to have a great defense or boxing brain.
Fix his glove positioning and new combinations and such as hes extremely easily to read. This is why now everyone is having success against him/beating him.
IMO if he had stronger better conditioned legs it would probably help him take a shot better than working on him getting a Tyson-esque neck. It would help with his balance and coordination too.

His chin is awful, crumbles like a biscuit.
You fall in the haters category for me.
I'm not saying it's great but it's not as bad as some people make out
I think he's cutting too much weight for his division, he's 5'9, he could easily be 147 and have a bigger neck, not saying he'd be competitive at 147, but I don't think his chin would be any worse than it is now.
He's got no chin man, I agree his foot positioning and defense is horrendous but his punch resistance is terrible, to put it simply look at the Berto Karrass fight, would Khan have taken the shots that either of those two guys traded? And the Garcia Matthysse fight, he would have gotten KO'd if either of those guys landed flush on Khan like they did on each other, his small head is the reason, fighters with small heads usually have poor chins and Khan has a peanut head. I wouldn't be surprised if he did get knocked out after applying aftershave like the poster above said to be honest with you.
Yes I know his chin is weak, I didn't mean it so black and white, but I'm saying his style doesn't do that any favours either, he could help prevent alot of knock outs by just being abit more intelligent.
I think he gets caught up in the moment, he doesn't take his time, and I think he likes to try and prove he's an elitist. . . but doesn't fight intelligently, he knows his hand speed is his greatest asset, but utilises it with poor execution.
I don't even think it's his chin as such but the way he gets caught, it's always with flush counters, leaning foward, he needs better footwork, ring generalship IQ and most importantly defence.
