Danny Garcia vs Victor Ortiz at 147, who have you got?

For those picking Ortiz, Garcia is a far better boxer and just took the bombs of Matthysse without folding. Does anyone seriously think once Ortiz starts getting hands consistently put on him by Garcia that he's all of a sudden going to display the fortitude necessary to fight through it?

Ortiz is not mentally tough enough to beat Garcia imo..Ortiz should just stay in his new career..Wish him luck,he does not deserve to get beat up like this..

Ortiz can't be missed with a left hook... I believe that's the shot that broke his jaw. Regardless Lopez was landing his left hook at will who by the way was also coming up from 140. Danny is bigger and stronger than Lopez and matches him in heart. Terrible matchup for Ortiz. Danny is a tree. Good point, with that info you gotta lean to garcia.

I'd like to say Ortiz but I think Garcia has more "true grit" and would win on that alone.

Just alone @ the press conference Ortiz quits by the constant bashing from Angel Garcia. Father breaks you down mentally Son finishes you off physically. I'm quite amazed of how smooth Danny Garcia acted the whole press conference all the way until the point he dabbed gloves with Matthyse in the ring.

consider that Ortiz lost to a guy moving up from 140...so it would be a step backwards for Danny as facelube isn't a proven player at 147 anymore and has shown vulnerability to smaller fighters. Your right and wrong at the same time. Ortiz stature at 147 is a step backwards but not every one steps up in weight to fight the best. Some test the waters to make sure they have power and can take the bigger guys shots. Ortiz would actually be a great fight for danny to show case himself in that division

If Ortiz had Rios mental fortitude he'd be the top dawg under Floyd at 147. Even with his limited ability he's strong and fast as hell and the few tikes we've seen him "on" he's been ferocious. All that said I just can't take Ortiz beating Garcia. If the Berto fight Ortiz showed up than it would be 50/50 but that's like betting on where lightnings gonna strike on an open field with no trees.

I think Garcia takes this and fairly easily. Good counter puncher, great chin, and the heart of a lion. Too much for Ortiz to handle. I think it would be entertaining though!

This is down right disrespectful to mention Garcia's name with Ortiz... This is a fight I have no second thought that Garcia would put a beating on to Ortiz. Sadley if this fight happened Gacia has boxing skills and power; while all Ortiz has is a weak will and some decent power... Besides that he is just another victim of his own stupidity agree with this but lets give credit to facelube where its due...he doesnt just have "some decent power" he's got excellent power. he knocked down everyone he fought except Floyd.
