Beyond the irrelevance of NSB, he would no doubt have been the next Money May opponent (and suitably schooled at that). Irrespective, thought he boxed well, made the fight competitive and contributed to a good fight.

Depends on how he won, if he would have pulled out a decision those dudes would still be hyping him but they likely would have checked them self a bit although some would still be full throttle hyping him as the next Julian Jackson.
