As a Broner fan and Floyd fan, I have no interest in paying to see Broner on PPV.
Plus Madiana isn't really that much of a draw, and they have yet to put together a undercard that would interest me.
Thurman Vs Guerrero on the undercard was the biggest interest and that fell through.
I think Goldenboy is moving Broner along too fast, he doesn't have enough fans, nor does he have enough haters, no is he fighting someone with alot of fans.
This thing will do like 50k-80k buys imo. I don't know what BPoop vs Dawson 1 did but I'd assume somewhere around there.
It's a solid fight for a regular Showtime slot, not even close to a decent card for PPV. I'll be streaming.
Selling PPV fights is basically gambling for tv networks. It's difficult for them to gauge whether it would sell or not. Spending money on expensive boxers and marketing fights is not cheap.

The fight is on Dec. The Mexicans already spend their money on Canelo. The next month they'll spend their money on JMM. Then Pac will take our ppv money on November. We need our shopping money on December. GBP and Showtime need the money they lost in Floyd-ghost. You fans fans should pay! I wont!
GoldenBoy/Showtime cant just bank on Mayweather, they need more than one fighter they work with to be capable to headline a PPV. Think of it as buying stock for a future payday, they need their stable to become PPV Stars, but they gotta start from somewhere. With Each PPV outing there stock will rise.
As for Broner, Its not like they have to pay a $40m guarantee. it wont flop, It will start slow but it will still make profit, If it make money it makes sense.
Broner should have been exposed on Mayweather's PPV cards, like how Canelo was, if he wanted to be the next Mr. Showtime. He was/is on the verge of having a big following, but i dont think his PPV will sell that well yet
great fights though
If I'm buying a ppv it's Pacman vs rios than Bradley vs Marquez.
Bunt sure as heck won't be handing over $ to watch a broner ppv when hen just came off beating maligaggi. That's a freaking disgraceful ppv if I ever saw one.
If it does 300,000, thats good. But like someone else said, I dont care what it does I just want to see the fight. I'll be streaming like I do all fights
I will probably order it because I can afford it. Plus I want to see how Broner develops in his young career. These next few years are going to tell us if he is really serious about boxing. Plus I like to see things first hand. I don't want to read about the fight in threads like this without knowing what people are taking about.
