no he's not...he tucks his head and body well with his "ready to shoulder roll" stance but apart from that he doesn't really do a lot of other defensive moves. he got no lateral movements and not a lot of head and body movements to try to duck punches. sometimes he even freezes when he's under attack. paulie was able to land 3 or 4 punch combinations on him without getting countered. his lack of good footwork messes up his balance when he's on the defensive end.
This is partially true but we must realize something; At the lower weights, he showed allot of diversity with his D game. He has good head movement, great countering, phenomenal inside fighting. He attacks from all angles, and can throw sharp combinations on the fly. BUT, when he jumped up in weight, it made him sluggish and people forgot about all of his skills. Im not a Broner fan, but I wont be fooled by that fight with Paulie. He wasnt moving as quick as he used to move. But thats something he can fix overtime by growing into the weight class.
Gotta see how Manny looks in November, but if he looks like he did vs Marquez before the KO, he'd stop Broner. Manny's footwork and movement would lower Broner's output and his power seems to be significantly less at WW.
im not even going to get into mannys attributes that he has over broner !!!!!!! in fact im not even going to talk down broner , ill just say this ... experiance will play a great role if this fight was to happen in the nxt couple of yrs !!!!!!! manny has experiance at a top level that broner wwould simply not be able to over come !!!!! the best hope for broner is to hope mannys skills , and physicals gifts wither away !!!!!!! becasue as of right now manny is too experianced !!!!! even if some idiots want to call him over the hill and say he lost a step he will still man handle broner !!!!
after this fight, broner will upload a pic of him sucking his own c0ck instead of 2 bimbos doing it.
Does every thread have to have some random response full of over the top gay-ness!?
Let's be real though...there might be contact but you don't see Broner's head snapping back so even though he lacks movement, lets not lose sight of what kind of punches actually land on him. This post has nothing to do with Pac, this is for everyone who is speaking on Broner without being clear on what actually lands on him...
interesting match up, I think. Regardless how many feel about Broner, he isn't an easy fight to hit. He also has a talent for counter punching, which Many has shown himself to be prone to, especially with the way kinda dives in when he throws that left hand. But, Broner's strength hasn't developed yet at WW.
I think a lot of us are really underestimating how much styles make fights. Some are mentioning the difficulty Broner had against Paulie, but he and Manny have styles that are night and day in comparison. Also, regardless of how we feel about Paulie, he is a crafty and slippery fighter.
Manny still had pretty good speed and movement in his last fight, but I don't he is the same fighter now.
It goes with Broner hiding in his shell for 12 rounds like Clottey.
Same way i see it, but Manny scores a KD somewhere, and then he shells up like Clottey.

i agree with this 100 percent..Floyd told him this hope he listens...he has been in the Mayweather gym since and worked with Roger..lets see how that goes
Broner has to show me some effective footwork, both offensive & defensive...he's too stationary for me to give him much chance against Pac. He'll land a couple shots but standing in front of Pac with ONLY the shoulder roll is suicide.
manny would have a tee off.
easy UD. manny aint knockin broner out.... hes too defensive.

Broner is indeed a mystery right now and we either have seen his full potential or we have not..if i had to bet money at this moment id have to roll wit the proven product in Manny
Very interesting.
Truthfully, I would have picked Manny by KO before he got dropped by Marquez.
Now, I'm not so sure. It will depend on how Manny recovered from that.
I would also like to see Bradley fight Broner.
Bradley is no joke and would lay it on him that whole fight.
You can't stand there and cover up and expect Bradley to respect you.
Hell, he don't even respect you when you are throwing hard.
Hell yea Bradley Broner...would love to see it
Wondering would Broners lack of movement hurt him here
Go watch Broner vs Gavin Reese. Broner eats allot of fast shots from the smaller guy who was using head movement, and a tad of foot movement. Until Broner gets his timing down and starts trying to counter him coming in. Broner would get beaten up and cut up by Pac, but winning is still an option if he can survive the power. The power may get to him mentally, or he may just suck it up and win.
I think Pacquiao is faster, gamer, and punches harder than Broner. I think he would win most or all of the rounds and probably KO Broner unless Broner has a very good chin. I have not seen Broner hurt yet but he has not fought anybody that can punch like Pacquiao.
Broner is too unproven for these H2H match ups.
No one knows what Broner can even do at this point.
Forreal! His best opponent at this point was Demarco or Ponce de Leon. Decent opponents but not P4P Material.
