From ESPN.com news services:
Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat Canelo Alvarez in the megafight on Saturday -- on every scorecard except one.
CJ Ross, the boxing judge who scored the Mayweather-Alvarez fight as a draw, confirmed that she is stepping down indefinitely, according to Las Vegas TV station 8 News NOW.
Ross has been involved in two controversial decisions in the last 15 months. She also judged the Timothy Bradley-Manny Pacquiao fight last year, and was one of two judges to score the bout in Bradley's favor, despite overwhelming opinion that Pacquiao had earned the win.
Ross sent an email to the Nevada Athletic Commission that read: "I will be taking some time off from boxing but will keep in touch," according to a tweet from The Las Vegas Journal.
Ross has been a judge since 1989.
"To her credit, she does not want to take away from the story, being what a dominate performance by Floyd Mayweather. So, she has asked us if she can take some time off, we've agreed. It shows the type of person she is. Bill was very understanding and supportive. He agreed that that was a great avenue to take," NAC executive director Keith Kizer said, according to 8 News NOW.
Yea she is stepping down but she needs to reapply every year and the governor of Nevada was putting heat on the commission who he appoints not to just rubber stamp people through and basically said Kizer needed to be answer for his decisions.
So while she could judge again possibly, based on what got said by the higher ups she is done.

She isn't stepping down, she's taking a vacation. She didn't retire or resign at all, but more likely taking a break to allow things to cool over. There is nothing preventing her from applying for a judging license in the future.
+300 isn't really that heavy and not worth rigging the entire event.
Bailey/Jones was high odds
Bradley by decision was better than +300. I made that bet.
i remember you !! your the same person that said bradley won last yr and agreed with ross !!! but now all of the sudden you think shes incompedant !!!!!
It wasn't me i give Bradley 1 round.
What I find crazy is how fast New Jersey fired 3 judges after the Lara - Williams fight, and this will be just swept under the rug.
They didnt get fired they got suspended
Your a troll how the **** could you have scored the fight for Canelo he did not win a round and Mayweather did not run i bet you had Donaire winning against Rigo as well.

goods ridence !!!! the bad part about it is her score card was the best one and the closest to the real score !!!!!!! i actually had alverez winning because of mayweathers running !!!!! the sport is called boxing not track running !!!!

I would just like to confirm, because you seem to be in some doubt - You don't know shit about boxing.

Maybe. But it's guaranteed money. Not too often you find that. And you can't make it happen all the time, just with the right people in place.
The Pacquiao Bradley fight was definitely rigged.
Bradley was the heavy underdog. Some people made a lot of money on that fight.

someone made money off of a majority decision bet somewhere...
CJ Ross was getting kickbacks to rig oddball decisions for betting... now she's riding off into the sunset with her ill gotten gains.
I don't doubt that at all.

Nor this.
There's no way Bardley won that fight. No way. I could watch that fight a thousand times and still score it for Pacquiao. Some powerful people made big money on their bets.
I'm just glad that we're seeing more happening with these so-called "judges." Make no mistake: fans speak up, pressure builds and things get done. There ought to be an uproar every time some "judge" or "judges" score a fight badly, whether intentionally or otherwise.

Kizer is a scumbag, he agrees with her scorecard, then says she didn't want to take away from the dominant performance Floyd had, which one is it?
