Think how awesome that would have been?
Rigondeaux has been a 122 fighter since before he won his first Olympic gold in 2000, by then Mayweather was a 130lbs, so a 126 catch weight fight could have been possible at some point.
Now that my friends, is my dream match.
And I have no doubt, Rigondeaux puts Floyd in detention.
He fought a lightweight his first fight back and never once tried to finish him yup that's why your rep power is in the red. And yes they were inferior!!! only real fighter he KO'd was Chico Corrales. Gatti really? fuking punching bag! Genero Hernandez decision Jose Luis Castillo yeah come on do I really need to go into their two fights? None of which were knock outs. So please tell me what all world fuking fighter did he actually knock out? chop chop Bwahahahahahahah!!!! I guess I can give you Hatton but fuk who hasn't knocked that guy out. Manfredy? Big fuking deal that was 1998!
He stopped Hernandez, it didn't go to decision.
He stopped Jesus Chavez.
He was more aggressive at 130 with solid power. That's pretty clear to see.
he's only had 6 fights in those 6 years im sure many of them went 6 fights without a ko
if he beat them doesn't that make them all inferior whether he kos them or not? fact is you have no point ,floyd fought more aggressive and was known as a puncher at lower weights that's a fact but it's obvious that's a revelation to you.
this is the worse excuse yet he only won because he moved up in weight 5 or 10 years later

Ah yes when you combine that and KO's that only occurred at lower weights against inferior opposition its not the same thing compared to any of those fighters you mentioned.

you've got to be kidding me?
how many guys at 47 did hearns ko that never fought at light heavy?
how many guys did duran ko below 47 that never fought at middleweight
how many guys did oscar ko at 135 that never fought at middleweight
how many guys did srl ko at 47 that never fought at middle weight
how many guys did srr ko that never fought at light heavy
how many guys did roy ko at 160 that never fought at heavyweight

So I'm gonna guess that has noting to do with the punishment his opponents sustained, not solely against Mayweather but against other fighters. That has a lot to do with style as well.
No what it means is that Floyd hasn't thrown a meaningful punch in 6 years.
Yeah and how many of those fighters he fought back then fought at welterweight and Junior middle? How many? Hmmmmm so could it be that FLOYD WAS SO MUCH LARGER???

Once again how many of those guys ever got big enough to fight at Welter and junior middle how many?

look at these boxing historians, floyd was more aggressive and more of a puncher at 130 but im expecting boxing novice to know something about boxing my bad

Also, Rigondeaux gets stopped. Hear me out here, Mayweather's left hook in the lower weight classes was arguably better than his lead right hand, and he isn't one dimensional with it like Donaire. Rigondeaux likes to use his right hand to measure his opponent, at times pawing with it, Floyd's lead/ counter left hook would catch him.
I agree that Floyd is the more skilled fighter, but you're making some very broad and erroneous statements about Rigo. For one, Guille hits hard with both hands, although his left is stronger. For another, Rigo can engage when he feels like it. Ask Willie Casey about that. The man simply prefers the counter-puncher's role.
stop he's left hand dominant his right hook is very weak and his jab is weak.....

The fact that people have to be reminded :nonono:
rigondeaux is not more skilled than floyd. are you nuts?
for one his right hand is very weak and he's a one dimensional pure counter puncher. a master counter puncher but that's all.

On an equal playing field I genuinely don't believe Mayweather is as skilled as Rigondeaux on their best night. I do believe he's a little bit smarter though. This would be the most boring chess match of all time.
I'd take Rigo.

Mauweather has displayed more skill that rigondeaux over nearly 2 decades as a pro. There's no way to even argue rigo is more skilled.
