No, he will never be half the fighter that Ward is, or Rigondeaux. Hes a fun exciting fighter like Berto, but with mildly better defense, but not much.

I'd like to think so. He has a lot of talent, but I'm just not sure if he's #1 P4P worthy. He needs some very good wins against elite talent in the next 5 years for that to happen.

I honestly can't see it happening unless he takes a very easy road to super stardom or actually corrects the glaring holes in his style. Being that he's an Al Haymon fighter, I expect him to do the former rather than the latter.

Broner will get beat early in his career. He is 23 right now but will lose as soon as he fights a very busy fighter. You can't stay in that shell and let fighters out work you like he did against Paulie. I feel khan,Alexander,Matthysse,Garcia,Guerrero,Ortiz,Canelo,Cotto,Pacquiao,Marquez, Bradley can all beat him right now. Broner better add some versatility to his fight game. You can't fight every fighter the same. (with just the shoulder roll) He already has 2 split decision wins on his record. (from being out worked) He can be out worked.

Anybody that gets combos landed on by Gavin Reese isn't lb4lb material IMO... Repeatedly got tagged by Gavin effen Reese. That & Broner doesn't seem to have the discipline going by how big he gets in between fights. In about a year or more he's going to be the next Andre Berto.
