Who performed better against Mayweather, Guerrero or Canelo?

I thought Canelo performed better. He fought a much better Mayweather.They both lost almost all of the rounds but I think Canelo made Floyd work harder and kept the rounds closer than Guerrero.Floyd said Canelo will be a good champion for the future of boxing to carry the torch after he is gone.

Discuss.:boxing: I had Canelo winning rounds 2,8,10,11,and 12.The 10th was close but Floyd only fought for the last 40 seconds after Canelo carried the round. Floyd clearly won 7-8 rounds vs Canelo. I had Guerrero winning 2 rounds at most. :boxing::boxing::boxing:

Canelo performed better... guerrero was done after about 2-3 rounds canelo was game the entire fight,, floyd was just better

Show me where he almost KO'ed Guerrero, Floyd nearly sent his head into the 1st row in round 8 he shook it off and kept trying, contrary to Canelo who was hurt and moved almost at will with both hands and had to sit on the ropes eating bombs cause a uppercut buzzed him...... Ill wait for you to show me where Floyd almost koed Guerrero Was it the 10th round or so? Guerrero was badly hurt and there was a moment where i thought he would go down and end it. Did you not watch the fight?

Beaten to the punch yes, beaten up...no. Canelo actually boxed much better with Mayweather, Guerrero had no chance. Mayweather landed some great shots on Canelo, but they weren't anywhere as frequent as with Guerrero and let's remember, he almost knocked Guerrero out. He never hurt Canelo, just frustrated him all night. they both got their asses beat up, imo. guerrero just seems like he got whooped on more because he never stopped coming forward. alvarez was beaten to the punch in almost every exchange and was even used as a punching bag a couple of times when he backed into the ropes. check sig. Guerrero easily. Canelo was scared to throw too bothered with defense. Might aswell of been a cardboard box in the ring fighting floyd...

tactically, i think guerrero did better because he had a solid gameplan of using pressure and was punching with floyd's counters. he gave more looks for floyd to work out of. it was a spirited effort by ghost. alvarez tried to box with mayweather but he looked like a deer caught in the headlights doing it so may pretty much did what he wanted with the boy.

That uppercut was STIFF. Seeing Alvarez lean on the ropes getting hit by everything was almost sad to watch. Alavarez really did look sad. But he is still a 23 yr old kid who has never been in a situation where nothing he does works. Canelo truly believed he was gonna win. The problem was floyd made him respect him. that doesn't happen with young people sometimes unless they are humiliated. I thought floyd was 100% spot on when he said in the press conference that Canelo needed to "get his confidence back."

I'll admit it's been a while, but I'm thinking Guerrero. Mayweather never looked the least bit uncomfortable against Alvarez, and did a lot more boxing off the backfoot against Guerrero. Mayweather was downright terrified to in fight n the trenches with Guerrero, and Mayweather is a dirty fighter that knows how to hold hit and elbow such, The ghost was ready and better prepared for Folyd Mayweather problems, contrary to Nelo who sat on the ropes and crumbled under the lights getting tee'd off on, not to mention The ghost had the counters on auto fire everything Floyd threw from 1-12 had a Guerrero counter coming behind it with bad intentions

Canelo did better, Guerrero got beat up. Canelo was hit some with some good right hands, but it was no where near the beating Mayweather gave Guerrero. I seen that kids soul leave his body! He went from being eerily calm to having his heart broken and soul taken in just minutes. I've never seen a fighter look like that. I am not sure he will ever be the same again. He got absolutely humiliated in there. good point,getting embarassed like that can break a fighter for the rest of his career. some guys can come back from that but some can't he is definitely gonna need some confidence building fights after saturday night.

This, the fight was a undressing Floyd toyed with and stripped naked the perception that Canelo was some great fighter he's not even elite, he's not a 4 division champ like Guerrero, doesnt have that heart doesnt have that skill, he got undressed with the world watching, a old man giving the young big boy a whipping buzzing a fighter 15 pounds heavier at will........ Canelo is done IMO I dont see where he goes from here a blown up WW walked him down and hurt him at will, he gets mauled at 160, ****ttt he has been avoiding JMW still Floyd is not a JMW, if he stays at 154 them JMW will want to test his chin, if lil Floyd could put a hurting and fear into him. The only thing I see for him is staying 154 and continuing to pick on WW, but I feel the Thurman's/Guererro's of the world still beat him......... Shame Oscar wasnt even there to have his back and cheer him on, although they say Oscar is in rehab, I'm sure he just hide his face in preparation for the inevitable, of Floyd beating his star, he could have went any time why before boxing biggest event......
