Floyd, Ward, Garcia
Who said Americans can't fight?
Garcia beat the daylights out of the Argie
and Floyd made Canelo look like a sparring partner and sent him back to mexico a loser
USA i am envious
Great day for American boxing and many other prospects on the way up Wilder, Broner to name a few
Broner will put on a show vs maidana. Will either KO him with a bodyshot or win by decision. Ward, Quillin, Wilder, Thurman, Errol Spence and Robert Easter, These are all great boxers.
usa has always been the big fish...........i remember broner called for the death to Argentine boxing :lol1:
but when you look at it it's turning out that way.
Chaves lost to thurman, matthysse lost to garcia, martinez is completely done & i thought he lost his last fight...........
all theres left is maidana.
those argentinians are though sobs, broner also called mathysse the boogyman for a reason.
Boxing is far more popular in other countries than the US. Don't let Floyd's success fool you. Floyd got to where he was with his trash talk, his 0 +accomplishments, and fighting guys like Hatton/ODLH. I haven't met a single person that has ever bought a Mayweather PPV to see him win, it's always been to see him lose. Can you say the same for foreign fighters? Even the crowd agrees, who was the crowd cheering for when Floyd fought ODLH/Canelo/Hatton/etc.?
There are 39 million kids in the US attending school ages 8-17, 28 million of those kids are all playing some sort of youth sport totally for free, ranging from baseball/soccer/basketball/football/swimming/wrestling/tennis/track & field etc. The majority of boxing gyms cost at least $30 per month, free vs having to pay, which wins?
And like I said before, most guys that are boxing today didn't pursue it. Arreola's dad was a boxer, Floyd's father was a boxer, Garcia's dad was a boxer, Guerrero's dad was a boxer, Qullin's father is from Cuba and we know how popular boxing is there, Arreola's father was a boxer, the list goes on and on.
Martinez chose boxing, the Klitschkos chose boxing, etc.
whocares who chose boxing or who came from a family tradition
fact is the USA has a lot of talent and they are proving their worth

And Martinez,
but Broner called this fight and I think Maidana has a much worse fate
You act as if Boxing is the #1 sport worldwide.... Lol. As many kids in America that are playing other sports, there's just as much if not more, playing Soccer, in Europe and South America... Which just so happens to be the absolute #1 most lucrative sport in the world. More so then the NBA and NFL combined. Probably like 90% of the best athletes in Europe grow up to be professional soccer players. Just like nowadays most top athletes in AMerica play basketball/football. This argument is old, stupid and has been disputed multiple times.

The funny thing is that boxing isn't even a top 10 most popular sport in the USA.
Kids these days are playing other sports. The majority of those guys only joined boxing because their father/family member was a boxer. I don't think any of them actually went out to pursue boxing like the Klitschko bros, Kessler, Golovkin, Martinez, etc.

Anyway there is a ton of good prospects/undefeated fighters coming from America at the moment, there is a lot of good undefeated fighters from Europe too. Many of them haven't broken into the American market yet. Not even guys like Golovkin and Kovalev, but guys like Khabib and Shafikov who have recently signed with American promoters and are undefeated and have potential to be champs. One guy from USA I have my eye on is Errol Spence.

I am sold on Garcia, i picked him to beat Lucas, but not by such a huge margin
I want to see Garcia against every minus Floyd
I think Garcia should build his own path, he is better off not cashing in on a Floyd fight because he will lose.
I want to see it. He's one of the best fighters around his weight.

It's not the "death" of Argentine boxing. It's not like Matthysse or Maidana are bums. They just aren't the best.
And Maidana is very likely going to lose to Broner.

Americans need to start embracing Danny Garcia. I was skeptical, but he's the man.
Top 10 P4P
1. Mayweather
2. Ward (will fall off if he doesn't fight this year)
3. Marquez
4. Rigondeaux
5. Wlad
6. Pacquiao
7. Martinez
8. Froch
9. Garcia
10. Donaire
