Garcia deserves a shot at mayweather. Garcia has earned credit, not hype and that sets him apart from a lot of Floyd's opponents. Garcia vs Mayweather may not be a close fight, but Garcia has earned it.
Unlike most of Floyd's opponents Garcia has a winner's chance. He's used to being the underdog and finding a way to win. It takes skill to turn a fight around.
Kinda the opposite of the guy in you avatar
Lucas and Canelo are not hype jobs. Yes they are, Canelo more so but once a fighter is hyped up and then loses, they are hypejobs. Blame schaefer for calling Lucas the next pacquiao.

Bang on
Garcia is consciously overlooked because of the strong dislike of his father by fans. As a person its hard to knock the dude himself.
Couldn't have said it better myself, he does and has proved his worth and more than deserves a shot at Mayweather.
I was actually very surprised by his boxing skills.
I previously remembered him as a patient spamming left hook counter puncher but he showed great footwork and great defense. He even countered one of the heaviest punchers p4p.
Great peformance
never count anyone out
I still had it quite close but a clear win for Garcia
The point is after that Lucas was at a huge disadvantage at the time he was coming on strong. Those last 6 rounds would have been at the least a lot closer. Garcia also fought one of the dirtiest fights you'll see, deliberately targeting the nuts in every round. He won but it wasn't a boxing masterclass people are making it out to be.
deliberately.

whilst it is true Lucas was at huge disadvantage, what do you expect Danny to do? Logically the best thing he can do is capitalise on that, and if it is caused from a punch he landed then he should get all the credit, Lucas' corner should have got the enswell out sooner and acted on it.
He was still in the fight, protecting the eye Danny thrashed. Whats your point?
it would be overrating the win if mathysse was garbage. he isn't. also, why do people keep bringing up the eye issue like getting punched in the face isn't supposed to happen in boxing? ya'll are grasping at straws and it isn't funny. its sad.

People are overrating that win, Matthysse was still in the fight and won the round prior to the eye injury. The eye injury ****ed him, he spent the rest of the fight not being able to see from it and trying to protect it.

Yeah I can't even front, I slept on Garcia and thought he some how was undeservedly champ, but last night he proved true grit. . . props and half respect, gotta take some respect off cus he was abit dirty n the holding was terrible . . . but he still owned Matthysse n outboxed him, and the eye came from a punch which he caused so yeah, kudos.
Garcia does it the way it is supposed to be done, Just like how another philly fighter did it the way it was supposed to be done. Danny Garcia is an example of what a fighter has to do to earn megafights.
Garcia is coming up the way you are supposed to. By cleaning out divisions. Not picking on the weakest title holders and fighting smaller opponents. Canelo and Broner can learn a thing or two from DSG.
